| | | Nader's back in it He announced yesterday he's forming an exploratory committee. Earlier, he said he'd only run if Hillary won the nomination.

| | | PWC, you seem to know alot about the independents. Would it be possible for Nader to hook up with Ron Paul or are they on different wave lengths?
If McCain wins the Republican Party nomination, our choice will be the lesser of two evils, sans the lesser. I believe that if ever an Independent had a chance to win the presidency, it would be right now. What would be the most viable winning combination in your opinion? |

I agree in the sense that OPEN OFFICE elections are a better opportunity for independents than challenging a president's re-election. There is no winning combination in 2008 (with or without Hillary) because the Reform Party has severe cranial rectosis ever since the Reform Party Kick Boxing Squad stormed the live convention on C-SPAN in 2000.
The winning combination will require several election cycles to prepare. The best we can hope for in 2008 is to take a single state's electoral votes. Democrats run the unions, and they can cut off shipping to Hawaii. But, the Reform Party should nominate Hawaiian royalty and move the conventions to Hawaii. If you agree with my Hawaii theory, you can possibly look at sending cash to Johnny Jackson for Maui County Council or you can even help put the presidency in Bu Laia's head (LOL). My campaign slogan is "America can be Hawaii's Soveriegn Land"
The rest of the country should put poison pill candidates into the state office races for the Republican and Democrat primaries. Collect signatures, spend 250 bucks to get your name on the ballot, and just sit back to see how many votes you collect from the serious candidates. Over many election cycles, this will leverage a 3rd podium into debates in exchange for the poison pills dropping out of the primaries.
In summary, the best winning combination for an independent to win the White House is for everybody to vote against Hillary, reduce the Democrats to minor or third party, and then a new 2nd party can emerge. McCain/Lieberman 2008. Every state needs to go Republican like Reagan's election and we need to keep it that way for 2 or 3 election cycles in a row.

| | Yea, but he hasn't said for sure yet. I think IF he does, he will badly hurt the Democratic nominee. Could be a good thing and COULD keep Hillary out of office...well, we can dream anyway. BUT, if Mike Bloomberg runs as an Independent, Hillary WILL be President of the US then...that is my prediction anyway. Bloomberg very well might throw in IF Nader gets in, I bet...

On the other hand, Bloomberg might take NY's electorals from Hillary. Wouldn't that be the s h i t?
As far as Nader, today Democrats say he made no difference in 2004. Therefore, Nader will make no difference in 2008. This explanation will change overnight when Hillary wants to blame Nader in advance of election day for her future loss in 2008. If that happens, you can bet Hillary will lose and she knows it. There is no need to attack Nader when he makes no difference unless you are a big time loser. I just hope the Dems don't hire a good hit man. Seriously! I honestly fear for Nader's life this time.
Nader sued off the ballots again = a Republican in the White House.

| | LOL, yea, true...I forgot about Nader getting sued off the ballots! That was amazing to see there. The stakes are so high right now that I wouldn't doubt it if they did find a good hit man and Nader goes the way of Vince Foster or something like it. I think it would be too late to start NoBloombergForPresident.com now though as I have no ad monies and rely on natural search engine results...would take too long to get it up there and it would be over by then. Google: Hillary For President and see where we are. That's the only way we can make a difference because we have no $$$, sadly enough, LOL. I would LOVE to advertise, but simply cannot with an empty wallet.

| | | If it's true that Bloomberg would help Hillary by splitting the anti-Hillary vote, don't be surprised if Hillary makes a deal with Bloomberg to get him to run. She will do ANYTHING to get elected. Fox just release a poll taken 1/30 - 1/31 which asked 900 people on the phone which candidate would be most likely to do anything, including something illegal to get elected. The results: Hillary 44%, Romney 11%, McCain 9%, Obama 8%. The same poll, however showed that Hillary is favored 47 to 37 among Democrats. I guess most Democrats don't care that much about honesty.
The same poll for the general election showed McCain just barely beating Hillary 45 to 44, but Obama beating McCain 44 to 43. This race is too close for comfort. I say it's time for conservatives to swallow their pride and hold their nose and vote for McCain to keep Hillary out of the White House, assuming she's the nominee. If Obama's the nominee, I won't care if McCain is defeated. I'm tired of the Republican war mongers anyway and John "bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb Iran" is one of the worst of them. |

| Yea! Me too! But, it won't get very far on the net, LOL. You're right, Herb...Hillary very well could make a deal with Bloomberg! I would NOT put that past her at all. I PRAY Bloomberg is smarter than to be duped by the beast...Hillary.

| | | I don't understand. When Slick let them blow up our embassies, ships, and other interests, we complained about the inaction of our president. Now we're tired of the war monger Republicans?
Get a grip Herb! We are the most powerful country in the world and we should never, ever, back down to any third rate, third world country. What George Bush did is what democracy is all about. Do you even have a clue as to how powerful we are? We are feared around the world and I appreciate that. THAT'S WHY I PAY TAXES!!!!!!!!!
Do not believe what you hear from the MSM. ALWAYS THINK RONALD REAGAN.
He Knew where the country was headed and he grabbed the bull by the horns and said, NO WAY!!! C'mon guys, we're Americans, never let down and always be positive about what we can do and how he can do it. DON'T BE THE WHINERS!!! | |
