| | | Why is Palin Running? From an Obama blogger:
Why is Palin running?
Is it the fact that all she could do is read lines written for her, but she can't actually answer any questions that aren't scripted? Is that why she ran away?
Is it because she can't defend the accusations she made and she knows how vulnerable she is on her own "record"?
Is it the fact that she is dumb as a fencepost, having to go to five colleges in six years to get 1 undergraduate degree (in journalism) from Idaho State?
Is she afraid of being asked about the hypocrisy of her "abstinence only approach" and the fact that she herself became pregnant out of wedlock and then her daughter followed suit?
Is she afraid about being asked how she is the candidate of "family values" when her daughter followed her own bad example?
Is she afraid of being asked why she would put her family through all of this knowing it would come out, with a special needs child who is 4 months old?
Is she afraid of answering questions about why she hired a lobbyist for the town of Wasilla?
Is she afraid of answering questions about the bridge to Nowhere which she is own record as supporting (oral tapes and t-shirt- my favorite)?
Is she afraid of being asked about being a director of Ted Stevens PAC?
Is she afraid of being asked about why she wanted Alaska to secede from the rest of the United States?
Is she afraid of being asked to defend her positions on science?
Is she afraid of being asked why women should vote for her when most women strongly disagree with her on issues (like choice, health care)?
Is she afraid of trying to defend her radical views in science?
Is she afraid of answering questions about using her political power as governor to settle personal grievances (Troopergate)? | | Remove This Ad By Registering. Join Our Hillary For President Forum For Free. Sponsored Links:

All these "Is she afraid of being asked..." questions. Of course she's not afraid of being asked. Does this genius think she's going to hide in a coccoon for the next two months? |

| | | Remember that Herb is firmly ensconced in Obama's camp. I made the mistake of assuming that everybody at an anti-Hillary site would be conservative or independent but this turned out not to be the case. It's my opnion that Herb joined this site as anti-Hillary, but only to get her out of the way so he could eventually promote another liberal Democrat. Herb has shown positive interest in Ron Paul, Ralph Nader, and Bob Barr, but I believe that it's his way of steering conservatives and /or Republicans away from McCain by providing alternatives who can not win. This is not the first time that Herb has posted directly from an Obama blogger. Not too long ago he posted another that told why the "Surge" didn't work. Obama's admission to Bill O'Reilly that the "Surge" worked "beyond our wildest dreams," must have broken Herb's heart. |

| | | So, you think you have me all figured out, nohil-billy. Have you not seen my posts against Obama and Biden? Where did I ever post anything in favor of Nader? Nader makes Obama look like a moderate. I'm supporting Barr because I'm a libertarian. If more people support the independent candidates, it will send a message that the public are tired of the same old Republicrat and Demacan politicians. I think nohil-billy is such a yellow dog Republican that he would vote for Satan himself if he was running on the Republican ticket.
As fa as your claim about Obama saying "the surge worked beyond our wildest dreams", he did not break my heart. Obama has said plenty of other things that I do not agree with, so what else is new? The goal of the surge was to get us out of Iraq. Has it worked? Are we out of Iraq? Are we anywhere near pulling out of Iraq? Or has all the surge accomplished is to reduce the number of casualties, which are still too high? Americans are still dying in Iraq on an almost daily basis. Some success that is! |

| | | Just a simple question Herb. You came up during the Viet Nam era. Did you serve in the military or did your PO Box have a Canadien zip code? Just asking, but I'm betting on the latter. | | Remove This Ad By Registering. Join Our Hillary For President Forum For Free. Sponsored Links: | |

| | | I was a chicken hawk like your hero, George W. Bush. I joined the National Guard to keep from getting drafted, but I was a hawk on Viet Nam. I used to be a hawk until I started reading libertarian anti-war material and came to the conclusion of how wrong the hawks were and are. |

| | | Did the surge work? See my link under the Obama section below. The writer compares the current death rate in Iraq to Sri Lanka, Kashmir, and Lebanon. If we don't consider those civil wars successes, how can we call the mess in Iraq a success? It's only an improvement in comparison to previous conditions. To the extent that it is a success, which it isn't, it is not totally due to an increased number of American troops. Iran has promoted some stability because they have a common ally there with the US. The Sunnis' turning on al Qaeda has also helped.
Obama, by putting himself on the same page as McBush, has hurt his chances of getting elected. He has shown himself to be not much different from McBush regarding foreign policy and risks losing his anti-war base. |

| | | I see you slipped in "civil war" Herb. You're as subtle as a kick in the teeth.
Maybe Obama just happened to pick up the home town newspaper and found out that more people got killed in the 'hood this summer than got killed in Iraq. Comparing the violence in Obama's old neighborhood to that in Iraq, would you call Obama's efforts a success. And remember, there's a war going on in Iraq.
