No, I don't think it's just me Herb. I saw where someone commented similarly to a Newsweek article about Obama's arrogant reflections of small town USA..

Obama was speaking to a roomful of wealthy liberal donors in San Fransisco and he was talking down on small town folk. I've lived in a small town for over ten years now after 37 years in Chicago. These people aren't clinging to God and their guns because of some economic depression. Firearms and worship are part of the small town lifestyle. Part of Americana. Obama can't understand this and because he's so anti-second amendment, he assumes that people want to keep their guns due to some insecurity.

Remember, Obama was a community organizer on the south side of Chicago so his experience with firearms is far different than what he would experience in a small town. Trust me, I know.

As for his being a Muslim. I don't know for sure but I'll err on the side of caution. Let's see. He associates with domestic terrorists. He has a spiritual advisor who was a former Muslim, hangs out with the leader of the Nation of Islam, visits the #1 sponsor of international terrorism, and gives racist sermons in his church. He defends his black Muslim fathers who abandoned him and calls the woman thet raised him a "Typical white person." Can you say RED FLAGS?

As for McCarthy. A book came out recently about McCarthy, (I'll look for the title and critique and post it later) and after 50, 60 years guess what. The author came to the conclusion that McCarthy, for the most part, was right.

For too many years I used to be lulled into thinking I was wasting my vote until I realized I was merely wiping off a lottery ticket to let the best evil win. Hence, we have today--nothing for all of us. Recently went on a political youth blog and apologized to them for leaving them this mess.

I thought it was interesting how Hillary and McCain used Obama's remarks to imply their support for the 2nd Amendment, but the only rights regarding the 2nd Amendment that they mentioned were the right to shoot and hunt. Do they, and this goes for Obama as well, not know what the real purpose of the 2nd Amendment was? It was to protect our right to bear arms to defend us against an oppressive government. It serves as a further check against an oppressive government.

I guess all we need to know is that if our givernment gets too oppresive, we have the right to shoot and hunt. The targets are implied.

True, but some innocent people's lives were ruined. As far as I know, Obama isn't a Muslim and even if he were, it would not matter to me. I'm sure he has no grand conspiracy to overthrow our government and create a Muslim state.

If Obama is a Muslim like Romney is a Mormon then it wouldn't matter to me either. Again Herb, are we talking an Islamic State or a Muslim State? The two are quite different.

The Nation of Islam believes that long ago, a nonbeliever was thrown out of Africa (somewhat like the biblical Lucifer) and in retaliation he created white people to torture and enslave the blacks. They are seperatists and think that they should be given several states (southern states: Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, etc...) and reparations to the tune of 30 billion a year for 30 years. They and the United States would then go their seperate ways. 30B x 30 years equals 900B.

The first Senate bill sponsored by Obama calls for 840 Billion to Africa over 10 years on top of what we already send. Hmmmmm!!! Like I said in another post, I hear Obama saying he wants to build a bridge but I hear no talk of him meeting in the middle. So far, white people have the problem with race, not his race baiting pastor. We embrace the second amendment and our churches because we're insecure, and even his white grandmother didn't escape his wrath unscathed.

I feel that Obama embraces the teachings of the Nation of Islam to the point that he believes he can enlighten the white race and then unite us according to their beliefs. I could be totally wrong, but this is what I hear when I listen to the things this man says.

Why would he switch to Christianity? Because a Muslim would have no chance of being elected to the presidency. I believe he was being groomed for this opportunity just as Bill Cluinton was being groomed for the presidency since his college days.

This is quite a stretch! 900B to the nation of Islam doesn't = 840B to Africa.

I say ALL the above it true and put anything else in the pot for good measure. We have no government period--I'm still laughing at nohill-billy's "giverment" and "The Targets Are Implied" Does anyone know if the giverment thieves are going to call their stimulus payment crap taxable income?
