Romney has a Chinaman's chance in Hell with a Goldwater bumper sticker on his forehead of getting the nomination! Hillary should be required to wear a picture of Karl Marx on her when she campaigns. That way she can explain to folks her economic and socialogical, and pathological bearing.

I wish others could see what I see with Romney. He says and does whatever is necessary to do to get elected. He tossed the Boy Scouts over the rail when he thought he could earn the support of Gays.

Romney and the media keep claiming that being Mormon is the problem. Honestly, it is not. The problem with Romney is that he is a Liberal pretending to be a social conservative. His record haunts him. We don't trust him!!!

Actually, I think Romney is a social conservative who disguised himself as a liberal to get elected in Massachusetts and is now switching back to try and capture the support of the conservative base. He morphs more than Hillary and flip-flops more than Kerry and the Democrats will be more than happy to point it out when the time comes.

This theory does not explain his actions as head of the 2002 Olympics.

Either way he does not have the courage of his convictions.

Understand that I am a Scout Leader and am very passionate about the Scouting program and possitive effects we have on boys. So read this post with my bias in full site.

In scouting we stress community service. In 2002, The Olympics came to Salt Lake. Romney who sat on the executive committee of the BSA at the time, decided as the CEO of the Olympics, that Boy Scouts could not be visible (wear there uniforms in any activity related to Olympics, understand this is standard practice). We were told we could apply as individuals to work at the Olympics but not as a group, we do everything as Units. Other organizations were welcome. This was the Olympics that "Welcomed Gay Involvement"--meaning they were active and visible. Scouts have been very involve in the Olympics for many decades.

Romney's campaigns have been out trying to deny it all. But it happened!!

Romney basicly supports the "Gay Agenda" and the Boy Scouts is an easy target. He obviously calculated that there was not poltical price to be paid for his actions. Officially, Scouting avoids politics and just want to run what I consider is to be the greatest youth program on the planet, but in this post I am speaking for myself.

Republican or Democrat, I don't care...I will agressive oppose any candidate who believes the scouts are evil or who will damage this organization for political gain. I do not believe that America believes this was the right thing to do or that it can support a man who thinks this way.
