| | Hillary Clinton Draws First "Mud" With Barak Obama [ WASHINGTON, Feb. 22 — After weeks of watching in frustration as Senator Barack Obama presented himself as a fresh face gliding above partisan politics, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton has drawn Mr. Obama onto a muddy political field, engaging him in a back-and-forth that recalls the kind of Washington bickering Mr. Obama has decried.
Mrs. Clinton’s effort to identify Mr. Obama with an attack made by one of his chief Hollywood supporters was widely viewed among Democrats as carrying some cost to Mrs. Clinton. The remarks at the heart of the dispute, by David Geffen, the Hollywood executive who was once a big fund-raiser for the Clintons, were a sharp reminder of Clinton family history that has led some Democrats to believe Mrs. Clinton cannot win a general election. ]

| | | I'm hoping to see the real Hillary come out, which it very well might the more criticism that is leveled at her. I hope more and more Democrats become more convinced she can't win a general election and end up not nominating her. I don't want her to win the nomination because I believe she is devious enough to somehow pull off a victory. |

| | | I think on domestic policy, there really isn't any difference between Hillary, Obama, and Edwards. They're all socialists. I get the impression that Obama is honest, but I could be wrong. I think Edwards is a slick lawyer and slick politician. I believe Hillary is the worst of the three because as well as being a socialist, she's a crook and a sleezy politician. | | Remove This Ad By Registering. | | | Are they all the same? I agree with you again Herb with the exception that from what I've read, Obama is even more of a Socialist if that's possible. This is all such a joke, by the time it's actually time to vote the electorate will have become so sick of all of these people. We need somebody that is a demonstrated leader, yea he/she will have baggage, but they must not be as polarizing as Hillary. That's why I wouldn't vote for Newt, I think the guy is a genius and gave us all the years of growth that Clintonian Kling On's talk about. I'm for Rudy, hope he lays low and let all these has beens, never will be and posers flame out. |

| | | Of all the major contenders, I'm also for Rudy. He comes closest to my libertarian leanings and I believe he would run the best campaign against Hillary if she's the one the Democrats nominate. The one I'm supporting now is Ron Paul, but alas, I don't think he will go that far. He will be taking part in the first of the Republican debates, which will aquaint the public with libertarian ideas that contradict the statist viewpoints of the major candidates of both parties. |

Not many if any candidates even attempted to trip her up.
