Right, remember that news story not long ago: Woman Dies On Floor Of Hospital in agony? That would be all over the US if Hillary-Care ever made it. Ask the Canadians, for a simple operation, they have to come to the US to get it due to the long waiting lists...they HATE socialized health-care there.

The Clintons should not talk about cronyism and pardons. Bush has used pardons very judiciously. Clinton gave them away like candy. Libby didn't do anything! Where was the crime? Hell, Bill Clinton pardoned his own brother. Plus, Bush has the ABSOLUTE authority to pardon any body he wants!!!! Hillary should shut up.

This is why it's important for the Republicans to win the Presidency in 2008, otherwise we may very well get socialized medicine. The public needs to be informed on the quasi free market alternatives to socialized medicine. This is hard to do with our age of 10 second sound bites on television. Most people think the only alternative to what we have now is socialized medicine. They don't realize that the problems we have in our health system have been caused by government intervention such as Medicare, Medicaid, the 1973 HMO Act, state laws that benefit the trial lawyers at the expense of doctors, etc.

This is why it's important for a Republican to win the Presidency. If the Democrats win, socialized medicine may very well become the law of the land. The public needs to be educated that there are alternatives to our system besides socialized medicine. The problems we have are caused by government intervention such as Medicare, Medicaid, the 1973 HMO Act, frivolous lawsuits that favor slick lawyers like Edwards at the expense of the doctors who then pass those costs off to their patients, etc. In today's times, all we get are 10 second sound bites on the idiot box. No wonder the public is so ill informed on this issue.
