Hillary Slams Fred Thompson For Cuba Remark

[ LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (AP) - Taking a swipe at a potential GOP presidential rival, Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton on Saturday criticized Fred Thompson for suggesting illegal Cuban immigrants pose a terrorist threat.
"I was appalled when one of the people running for or about to run for the Republican nomination talked about Cuban refugees as potential terrorists," Clinton told Hispanic elected officials. "Apparently he doesn't have a lot of experience in Florida or anywhere else, and doesn't know a lot of Cuban-Americans."
Thompson, who is polling strongly among GOP primary voters and is expected to join the race soon, made the comment at a campaign stop Wednesday in South Carolina. ]

WiseOne's Comments, Really Fred Thompson should have said that Hillary poses more of a terrorist threat to America than any Cuban. IF Hillary gets into office, you can BET terrorist attacks will increase in America, Just MHO

Frankly if Fred is going to run he needs to make up his mind. Personally I can see only two reasons that he has not made a decision

1. He doesn't want to be in the first of the debates that we have been seeing which have certainly enlightened me as to the mass of idiots we have running.
2. It's a strategic move so he can get his ducks (answers) in a row so he has what he thinks are unique responses.

I liked President Regan, personally there isn't anyone running that even comes close and I wish they'd stop using his name to me it's an insult. I know he is turning over in his grave as he looks down from heaven at the sorry bunch we have from BOTH parties that think they are fit to be president. Leading the pack is the devil incarnate Hillary. I still think that her and Bill will wind up running our country together no matter what the law says. After all Bill should have been impeached for the transgressions that he made while he was in office. I cannot look up to anyone that would allow her husband to commit adultery and never address the issue to the American public.
Our President should be some one that we ALL look up to, that kids want to be just like. When I was a child I had heroes and sadly I don't see any now. Maybe Oprah will run. Personally I may not always agree with her, but she is one that has made the American Dream a reality and given hope that it's still alive some where, something Hillary hasn't.

Hillary is obviously going after the Cuban vote in Florida assuming that Florida will be another battleground as it was in 2000. Hillary may very well get the nomination, but it will be a very unwise choice for the Democrats. Over 50% of the public say they will definitely not vote for her. The only chance she has to win the general election is in a squeeker. That's why battleground states like Florida are so important to her. I think Thompson will be the nominee on the Republican ticket. I believe he will be perceived much more positively by more people than will Hillary. That's his best hope. That's why I think the Democrats will be making a big mistake in nomination somebody who's perceived in such a negative way by more than half of the public. Ther Democrats because of their stupidity may be going down to defeat in the general election for the third time in a row.

hillaryproject.com has an article which quotes a Clinton campaign aide as knowing that Fred Thompson didn't really make the comments Hillary claimed he made. The campaign aide said that the reason for the misrepresentation is to plant an image of Thompson in the public's mind, i.e. a racist. Talk about the politics of personal destruction! Hillary is a dirty campaigner who thinks little of American voters' intelligence and will say and do anything to get elected.

Another thing that burns me is the silence of the national media about the video which shows Hillary commiting 4 felonies. The media, including Fox, will do anything to help Hillary win. Rupert Murdock, who owns Fox and the New York Post has killed stories in the Post that were critical of Hillary. Why does Murdock support Hillary? I think Hillary has gotten to him the way she did the editor of the Arkansas Gazette. When the Arkansas Gazette printed negative stories of Governor Clinton, Hillary took out the editor to lunch and buttered him up and the negative stories stopped. I assume she has done the same thing with Rupert Murdock. She probably assured him that she would do everything in her power to protect Israel. She's a sharp politician who will stop at nothing to win. She has the national television media on her side, now she's going after conservative talk radio and next will probably be the internet.

Very sly, she has a good mentor on her side for that. IF she could, she would take this site down in a heartbeat and shut us ALL up! I bet she is thinking of ways to do just that to be sure. I don't understand why the media won't stay on her felonies as well, that scares me all the more...I think she CAN win with the media on her side. Hillary basically would like to shut up ANYONE who is even slightly against her and make sure they are not heard...Joseph Stalin would blush at Hillary's genius of doing this right in front of "free" people's faces! She doesn't have to slaughter her opposition, she "brainwashes" them, demonizes them, and the like...
