Clinton: Open to being Obama's vice president

Says she would consider it to help Democrats win the White House in '08

WASHINGTON - Hillary Clinton has told congressional colleagues she would be open to becoming Barack Obama's vice presidential nominee, saying she would consider it if it would help Democrats win the White House.
Clinton, a New York senator, made the comment on a conference call with other New York lawmakers Tuesday, according a participant on the call.
The senator's remarks came in response to a question from Democratic Rep. Nydia Velazquez who said she believed the best way for Obama to win over key voting blocs, including Hispanics, would be for him to choose Clinton as his running mate.


According to an NBC News source, Clinton said if Obama were to ask her to be on the ticket, she would be interested.
"I am open to it," Clinton replied, if it would help the party's prospects in November.
According to that source, Clinton also emphasized on that call that she would not be dropping out of the presidential race Tuesday.
She said her speech following the Montana and South Dakota primaries would be one of reflection.

This will be interesting for sure. I don't wish him any ill will, but, it wouldn't surprise me if something happened to Obama if he is elected and Hitlery became POTUS.

Why she suppose to make decision to be a VP? Now it is up to Obama whether to pick her or not. If he is smart enough he don't have to. He will hurt badly his campain putting on all her negatives with him after so long battle. Anyway, it was a fabulous day that the witch is stopped at least now!!!

Hillary has a sense of entitlement. If she can't be president, she'll take vice president. If Obama is bullied into picking her, then he is not his own man and therefore is not a leader and doesn't deserve to be president.

clinton has again upped the level of her own arrogance directed at the American people. She has not conceded and will not. She is waiting like the "vulture" that she is for the eventual "controversy bomb" to drop on Obama. When it does, she will resume with her campaign of hate and lies and scavange her way to the white house.

If you take the media at their word you would think that the decision to become VP is up to clinton. Remember it is all about the clinton's, not what is best for the Democratic Party, or the United States. Beware she is not going away....
