 "Bill Clinton in Exile" "Bill Clinton in Exile" New book out looks at Bill Clinton post-the presidency. Interviews with acquaintances, employees, etc. Described as 'narcissistic and reckless,' and that the rules of society didnt/dont apply to him! Some comments from author, Carol Felsenthal, on H/C: "Bill disliked Jimmy Carter, not because he was a failed president, but because he was more successful after his presidency!" He envies Jimmy Carter and his Nobel Peace Prize "Bill Clinton loved being president." "He knows that if not in the 1st sentence but for sure in the 1st paragraph, his legacy will include 'Monica Lewinsky and impeachment!" Chapters in the book are titled, "It’s Monica, Stupid!” and “Philanderer in Chief.” After a period of floundering and depression the former president found his sea legs by establishing a Manhattan office in Harlem thus turning a public relations crisis into a bonanza. And he tapped into the money and adulation that came with speeches given overseas.
