| | Clinton & Obama To Skip Fox News Debate [ WASHINGTON - Barack Obama (news, bio, voting record) and Hillary Clinton will not participate in a Democratic debate co-hosted by Fox News Channel this fall, campaign aides indicated Monday.
The decision by the two Democratic presidential candidates follows an announcement last week by John Edwards, another White House contender, that he would forgo the Fox event. ]
Read More Here >> Yahoo News WiseOne's Comments, Now anyone reading this, that has a brain, should see something wrong with this. Are they scared to answer real questions? Are they trying to make a point by making it look like Fox News is already biased toward them (which is asinine to even think). Heck, if they can't stand up to the pressure of Fox News, why in hell would we want ANY of them as President? Shoot, they'd have to withstand far more from the Iranian leader than Fox News could ever put them under, sheesh...Just MHO

| | | WiseOne, I believe Obama and Clinton are seeing that the gains of Poodle Boy Edwards are synonymous with his overtures to the far left where the deep pockets of George Soros and move.on.org reside. I'm sure that later on in the campaign, move.on will strongly discourage democratic candidates from appearing on any FNC shows such as Hannity & Colmes and The O'reilly Factor. This will serve to keep the liberal base from tuning in to FNC to see their candidates (ratings) and will also bolster their charge that FNC is not fair and balanced. (credibility) |

| | | I think all three candidates are afraid of the questions they will be asked on Fox. They prefer to appear on the other networks where they know they will be asked softball questions. |

| | | New Book about Hillary Does anybody know anything about Jeff Gerth? He has a new book coming out in August about Hillary. The review claims it to be a balanced book. I wonder if it will have any negative information about her that may sway people away from her. |

(credibility) | Very well articulated, nohil-billy! That is a very good point and, I tell ya, this is real interesting. You know, I think you could be right on track with this one. This could bring a whole new dimension to the 2008 race if they won't appear on Fox News at all. If I were Fox News, I would fight back and not cover anything good that those candidates do then. I'm sure Fox News could get them back pretty good for making them look like fools right now. I bet this backfires on them all. Before the "internet age" they could have got away with what they are doing, but we won't let America forget that they (Clinton, Obama, Edwards) were too scared to appear on a Fox News debate. Before the net...that would have worked! Quote:

I'll look for it, do you know what the title will be, yet? IF it truly is balanced, I'm 100% positive there will be many pages of negative information we could use!

| | | The title is "Her Way". I looked at some leftist blog and you should see all the squealing about this book. They're already giving it bad reviews and it hasn't even come out yet. |
