| | Hillary CAN Win Iowa Jan 3rd! It is my opinion that Iowa 2008 will be won by Hillary. Hillary Clinton Iowa 2008 Poll Data. She STILL has a good lead over Obama... and Edwards is such a wiener that he has no hope, period. IF she wins Iowa, does that mean New Hampshire is a given for this beast?

| | | If Hillary wins Iowa, she's the nominee. The only hope is to beat her in the general election. Hopefully, that won't be hard with her high negatives. Hopefully, the Republican candidate most able to beat her wins the nomination. The latest Gallup poll that I saw showed Obama running a much better campaign against the Republicans than Hillary. The Democrats may be making a big mistake. Republicans will turn up in droves to keep that witch from returning to the White House. She could even cause the Democrats to lose control of both houses of Congress.
Dick Morris believes that Hillary is already going after Guiliani to make sure he isn't the Republican nominee by spreading rumors about him because she feels he's the only one that can beat her. Hillary will resort to anything it takes to get her back into the White House. |

| | I'm curious....what makes you think Republicans will turn out in droves to defeat her? I seem to remember that this country voted in her husband....... twice.....it was odd, in that absolutely none of the people I spoke to voted for him,(more likely wouldn't admit it!) yet he won handily!
I am so cynical at this point, as it relates to politics, that I believe we are only going through the motions before the coronation of Presidente Hillary.

The reality is she's nothing more than Clinton's old lady and he's never treated her on any other red-neck level so why should we?! |

Remember, smoothbore, Bill had Perot to syphon votes away from Bush and Dole. Plus, Bill was never as unpopular with the public as Hillary is. The latest Rasmussen poll that I saw showed Hillary with a 55% disapproval rate. Also, people are tired of the Bush/Clinton dynasty. I think the public wants change. |

Glad I finished reading the thread!
Yes, it's true that Bill never even earned 50% of the vote, yet people feel he was invincible. Heck, maybe that's why; he was reviled by many, yet he won twice without a majority. I seriously doubt his skunk of a wife could do that. What Herb said about the Bush/Clinton merry-go-round is a good point, too.
And Wiseone, don't lose hope yet! We'll know soon enough, but this past Sunday Bill Kristol predicted that Iowa would vote Edwards - Obama - Broom Hilda, in that order. I think Kristol is a much better prognosticator than most. Four years ago he was the only one who predicted that Howard Dean would come in third in Iowa. Everyone else thought he would win.
In any case, the wait is almost over. I'm praying the hyena gets her rear end whooped. |

| | | Yup, only one more day left. Man am I crossing my fingers...I agree, if Hillary gets Iowa, she will be the nominee IMHO. NOW, if Bloomberg could get in as an Independent, I think Hillary will lose the general nomination either way then. I am surely going to watch her like a hawk tommorrow...and PRAY she goes down hard! Remember, Bill Clinton lost Iowa and went on to win anyway...so this is a touchy issue all the way around right now...

| | | It's looking more and more likely that Bloomberg will be running. There's a new article in newsmax.com showing he's getting closer and closer to throwing his hat into the ring. |

| | | I suspect it's not how we vote, but what the word "is" means, as in what the word "terrorist" means. We know Perot's life was threatened and Glen Beck announced last night his life had been threatened because he was supporting Ron Paul. All this is ignored by media because there is some pretense no terrorism is within our corrupt government, just conspiracy theories. Perhaps Ron Paul is right, hence the fear of the man. Reality is not what Iowa or this Government is about, nor is voting, only how to circumvent it. Savage is 39 million strong and they're now going after him, hence the need to stop the spread of truth.
I find it strange that Hillary's 55% disapproval rating and Soros declaring her as his choice brought Hillary a 100 million booty with nobody really following the money. Illegals still allowed to vote, Hillary is a known pathological liar and Willy boy no better, yet their mob squad cult is salivating to be at the socialist hands of these cultist despots. We need not fear Islamic Terrorists, we have our own home grown preparing to take office.
I listened to Hillary lie again last night when she stated the first thing she ever did was to try and help children. -- The first thing she ever did as a lawyer was to dash to California and work in a literal Communist law firm, then switched to another. All documented, so what's wrong with this picture we allow the cloned media to shove up our | |
