Register's Endorsement Questionable?

The Des Moines Register has given it's official endorsement to Hillary Clinton and John McCain contending they top the field in competence and readiness to lead in a time of dissension at home and distrust and peril abroad.

In my opinion, this only shows that some in the Main Stream Media can not let go of their past media darlings. Hillary has always been a favorite of the Register and I see this endorsement as an attempt to prop up her floundering campaign. John McCain did not even campaign in Iowa, counting instead on a good showing in New Hampshire.

When the Des Moines Register speaks of dissension at home, I wonder if they're looking in the mirror?

Hillary is lucky to get the Des Moisnes Register's endorsement. An article in newsmax.com points to how Hillary's meeting with the Register's editors was very bad. She was her typical sour self. Her aides asked for another interview and promised she would show her nice self. Also, in the meantime, other Hillary people like Bill and Madelyn Albright had meetings with the Register's editors to try to smooth things over. It's no surprise, however, that the Register ended up endorsing the witch since all three of the editors are women.

I can only see the endorsement as transparently phony Herb. If you read the link, John McCain also received their endorsement and he's against everything Iowa stands for and hasn't even bothered campaigning there. The newspaper threw it's own readership to the wolves.
