| "What I want to see are polls showing GOP candidates handily defeating her"
I partially got my wish. A new Rasmussen poll of Florida shows Guiliani ahead of Hillary by 46 to 41, Romney ahead of her by 46 to 39, Thompson ahead of her by 47 to 38 and McCain ahead of her by 48 to 38. This is a reverse from what it was in August with Hillary 5 points above Guiliani and double digits above the other 3.
The favorability/unfavorability ratings of the 5 candidates in Florida is as follows: Hillary has a 54% unfavorability rating, The FAVORIBILITY ratings for the top 4 Republican candidates are as follows: Guiliani 58%, Thompson 56%, Romney 52%, McCain 51%.
Unfortunately, Hillary is still leading all her Democrat opposition in Florida. Are the Democrats going to continue to saddle themselves with this loser? The Clinton camp is saying that Hillary will win in a landslide. They want to keep fooling the Democrats into believing this nonsense so they will nominate her, but I think it's more likely that the Republican candidate will win in a landslide provided we don't have a severe recession, the Iraq War continues to improve, and more of the public learns more about the real Hillary. |
