Smiley 1 Obama Now Leads Hillary In Iowa Polls

Quote:
Overall, in current preferences, 30 percent in Iowa support Obama, 26 percent Clinton and 22 percent Edwards, with 11 percent for Bill Richardson. That's little changed since July (Edwards -4, Obama +3, both within sampling tolerances, and Clinton unchanged).

WiseOne's Comments, hip-hip-hooray! I hope Hillary goes down in flames in Iowa as this will truly show her vulnerability and will give her a hard slap for sure, Just MHO

I hope this is the beginning of the end for her. Look for her to get nastier in her desperation. What I want to see are polls showing GOP candidates handily defeating her as opposed to her Democratic opponents. That will send the message that it's time for Democrats to change horses. Hillary is beginning to look more and more like a swayed back old nag rather than the champion race horse she looked like a couple of weeks ago.

"What I want to see are polls showing GOP candidates handily defeating her"

I partially got my wish. A new Rasmussen poll of Florida shows Guiliani ahead of Hillary by 46 to 41, Romney ahead of her by 46 to 39, Thompson ahead of her by 47 to 38 and McCain ahead of her by 48 to 38. This is a reverse from what it was in August with Hillary 5 points above Guiliani and double digits above the other 3.

The favorability/unfavorability ratings of the 5 candidates in Florida is as follows: Hillary has a 54% unfavorability rating, The FAVORIBILITY ratings for the top 4 Republican candidates are as follows: Guiliani 58%, Thompson 56%, Romney 52%, McCain 51%.

Unfortunately, Hillary is still leading all her Democrat opposition in Florida. Are the Democrats going to continue to saddle themselves with this loser? The Clinton camp is saying that Hillary will win in a landslide. They want to keep fooling the Democrats into believing this nonsense so they will nominate her, but I think it's more likely that the Republican candidate will win in a landslide provided we don't have a severe recession, the Iraq War continues to improve, and more of the public learns more about the real Hillary.

Obama's talk to young kids in school about his drinking/drugs has placed him in a great position regarding honesty vs Hillary's dishonesty. I think better of him myself and know it will put him higher in the polls.

Giuliani moving ahead and Romney/Cnn really trying to bump him off my misquoting his sanctuary city efforts, etc. Difference being, Giuliani did not use it for the purpose of Voter Fraud, but to stop crime. They always stop short of the truth when discussing Giuliani's qualities. One more point regarding Giuliani--he has the confidence to talk to those more qualified on subjects than he is and educates himself continually, i.e. Dr. Thomas PM Barnett: The greatest stratagist our nation has. The Pentagon has requested and received Barnett's lectures and I've had the pleasure of listening to them on C-Span, yet you never hear it discussed on the shill networks. It's interesting that no other Presidential hopeful discusses individuals they truly admire, just the flaws in others.

I love it! I'm continually looking for just the right term to describe Little Miss Spontaneity and this is pretty darn good.

It does seem as though Hillary is worrying more about Obama's upswing, and I wonder if the story about her having some scandalous info on him is just a contrivance to slow him down. Her campaign says they're not going to release what they have, but maybe they don't really have anything at all. Maybe they hope the idea of a scandal will turn people away from Obama. That's my hunch, anyway.

No doubt the Broom Rider is a great campaigner when giving speeches or talking in sound bites, but get her out of the controlled environments and ask about something she hasn't prepared for and she falls apart. She is also showing a bit of a temper when questioned or backed into a corner.

This woman, and I use the term loosely, should scare everyone. She has been specific about nothing. Spontaneity is her worst enemy. She is working off of a blueprint and when she is forced from the plan, walls come tumbling down. The country is starting to see the real Hillary. The hot tempered biddy that the White House staff and her own husband was afraid of. She will publicly self destruct before this is over.
