DES MOINES, Iowa - For months, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton has promised a plan to bring health care to every American.

She was to make good on that pledge Monday, unveiling a sweeping proposal requiring everyone to carry health insurance and offering federal subsidies to help reduce the cost of coverage.
With a price tag of about $110 billion per year, Clinton's "American Health Choices Plan" represents her first major effort to achieve universal health coverage since 1994, when the plan she authored during her husband's first term collapsed.

Especially if the Senate is heavily in the Democrats' control as Dick Morris predicts. He predicts that the Democrats ,including Lieberman, will have 57 seats after the 2008 election. Then we get to join Europe with their long waiting lists, substandard care, high taxes, and chronically high unemployment of 10%.

We currently have $90 billion unfunded liabilities for Social Security and Medicare combined. How much will we be adding to that with socialized medicine? Hillary is opposed to privatizing any part of Social Security even though it has worked in other countries. She is so anti-market and pro big government. Her only prescription for saving Social Security is in raising payroll taxes. We can expect our taxes to skyrocket under Hillary and serious stagnation of the economy just like in Europe.

I have a copy of Hillary's health care control--I present a few of the Marxist demands:
You will automatically be enrolled in a "health alliance". We will be assigned medical "gatekeepers" who would decide what care people really need. If we do not comply we will be placed in the system and our tax deductions will not be allowed us.

Present and future doctors will be under direct control of a new National Health Board. Those who don't obey orders can be fined, have their assets forfeited, and be imprisoned. There will be an administrative law judge to handle this.

Any doctor who doesn't tell the government everything it wants to know about your medical history, buys services from a company the government hasn't approved, or doesn't open his offices to governmental inspection on demand is history.

These new "crimes" are broad enough for the government to destroy any doctor they please. Most of her health care costs can't be controlled and will be rationed because of it. (Rationing is a favorite Socialist pastime)

What happens when you combine fewer doctors and hospitals with 45 million new patients and skyrocketing costs? You get a health-care system that resembles that of the former Soviet Union. Frequent shortages of even the most basic drugs and medicatons. All this on the backs of the young and their employers already overburdened with social security demand payments.

Clinton's health-care plan documents what you eat, drink and smoke and your sexual habits. It is to change the way you and your children live.

This Clinton program calls for a direct government takeover of one seventh of our economy--national ID Cards--computer dossiers on every person in America--governmental power to track your every movement--registration of your children with the state from birth--placing all doctors, hospitals, medical schools and pharmaceutical manufacturers under state control--taxes, fines and forfeitures imposed by administrative decree--treatment for drug abuse and mental problems at the whim of bureaucrats--mandatory drugging of citizens from birth---and giving governmental bureaucrats the life-and-death power to decide what medicines and treatment you will be ALLOWED to have.

Hillary's presentation is handled in the same way she handled Bill Rodham's affairs. She lied about the women to defend him and she's lying now to initiate socialist/marxist dictates. I suggest all of us look further regarding this hate directed Marxist woman.

P.S.--I am in the process of removing myself from Medicare due to the disgusting control it presents over myself and my Doctor plus a considerable loss of my social security funds for the the disgust. If we initiate health savings for our citizens from birth we would remove the necessity for Medicare and all costs for health-care would automatically balance itself in a free-market system. Would that all senior citizens would join me in this effort. I am taking the stand that my health must take second postition to my livlihood and a free Republic. It is unbelievably simple, but you'll never hear our shill media present it because they need the cauldron stirring to pay their salaries and the owners to join the Marxist sociopaths and to hell with this Nation and its citizens.

You guys seem to be able to discuss this "plan" in a much calmer tone than I can muster. Yesterday I heard Hillary on the radio talking about her "plan" and the top of my head nearly came off. I was screaming at the radio at the top of my lungs. Until then I didn't think my visceral loathing of this pampered swine could get any worse, but apparently it can. It is almost reaching a point where I need a tranquilizer even to contemplate the hag. (Wonder if the "plan" would cover that...)
