Lifebelt McCain Flaming Out!

Posing as a moderate Republican/Democrat, John McCain's liberal ideas have turned off the conservative base, his stance on the war has turned off the libs, and his backing of the McKennedy immigration bill has turned off both sides. Trying to be everything to everybody has turned into not being liked by anybody.

MCCAIN PLUMMETS IN SOUTH CAROLINA...

I agree, he DESERVES retirement now. He just can't make it...it would be a MIRACLE if he did now. Never say never, but I agree, he is toast now. Sigh, get in Fred Thompson and quit farting around!!!

John McCain is a great American and deserves the presidency more than anyone, but he has no chance.

In my opinion "deserving the presidency" and being qualified are two different things.

While I thank Sen. McCain for his military service, his time in the senate, and his support for the war in Iraq, I just couldn't bring myself to trust a man who played more to the media and the moderate liberal base than he did to his own conservative constituents.

Unlike Brickman, I think McCain is probably qualified to be president. I don't, however, believe he deserves it as a moderate liberal wrapped in the cloak of Republican conservatism.

Card Spade John McCain

I'm not sure what he stands for, I'm not even sure he knows anymore. It's sad, he's a good man, but just tends to side with the left more than I can stomach. Talk about a messed up campaign? Stick a fork in him, he's done. Seriously I respect his service, but it's time to decide which side of the fence he's on or retire.
