Great! Hillary has really made of fool of herself. This has got to be the biggest political gaffe in history. I don't see how anybody can support her after this. Every self-respecting Democrat should heckle her out of the race.

I always get a kick of 'self-proclaimed' heroes and warriors!! Of course, these days one can go to a pawn shop and buy just about any medal to 'embellish' their accomplishments---dare I say even 'falsify!!' Guess McCain didnt have to pay $$ for his---maybe Kerry's can still be picked up in some Boston pawn shop these days....

I think she operates under the notion that those of us that hate her wouldn't be impressed whether it happened or not, and those that love her could care less. Like her namesake Sir Edmond Hillary, this too shall pass.

This is what Peggy Noonan wrote in the Wall Street Journal:

"What struck me as the best commentary on the Bosnia story came from a poster called GI Joe who wrote in to a news blog: "Actually Mrs. Clinton was too modest. I was there and saw it all. When Mrs. Clinton got off the plane the tarmac came under mortar and machine gun fire. I was blown off my tank and exposed to enemy fire. Mrs. Clinton without regard to her own safety dragged me to safety, jumped on the tank and opened fire, killing 50 of the enemy." Soon a suicide bomber appeared, but Mrs. Clinton stopped the guards from opening fire. "She talked to the man in his own language and got him [to] surrender. She found that he had suffered terribly as a result of policies of George Bush. She defused the bomb vest herself." Then she turned to his wounds. "She stopped my bleeding and saved my life. Chelsea donated the blood."

They should have a "Three Strikes - You're Out" law during presidential campaigns. If you get caught telling three lies of any magnitude during the race, you're outta there. Of course, the Democrats would have needed a new slate of candidates sometime right after the Iowa Caucus.
