AIN’T IT THE TRUTH!!!


A Somali arrives in Minneapolis as a new immigrant to the United States. He stops the first person he sees on the street and says, “Thank you Mr. American for letting me into your country, giving me housing, food stamps, free medical care and free education.

The passerby says, “You are mistaken, I am from Mexico.”

The Somali goes on and encounters another passerby. “Thank you sir,” he said, “For letting me into this beautiful country.”

The person replies, “I not American, I Vietnamese.”

The Somali moves on and the next person he sees, he stops, shakes his hand and says, “Thank you for letting me into this wonderful America.”

That person puts his hand up and says, “I am from the Middle East, I am not an American!”

The Somali moves along and spots a pleasant looking lady standing on a street corner and asks, “Are you an American?”

She replies, “No, I am from Jamaica!”

Puzzled, the Somali asks her, “Where are all the Americans?”

The Jamaican lady checks her watch and says, “Probably at work.”
