About the gun registration leading to confiscation, what about New Orleans after hurricane katrina?
I'll get back to you about the other questions.

We hate her because she's a socialist and a crook. An example of her support for big government that I just read in "Liberty" magazine is that she believes the New Deal and the Great Society created the middle class in America. Never mind that there was a middle class before the New Deal. If anything, the New Deal and the Great Society prolonged poverty. The New Deal discouraged business and prolonged the depression throughout the 30's. Charles Murray in "Losing Ground" statistically proved that progress was being made against poverty until the Great Society brought it to a halt. |

That is written in plain English. How hard is it for the left to understand. For 180 years, it was that simple. We have a fundamental right to be able to own and carry firearms. It is a birthright as an American citizen. And why? To defend our selves, and, in the words of El Rushbo, when the "government forgets the first." The Founders would be sickened by the debate. It was written in plainer english than the 1st. a 2 year old can understand. also, the textbooks in this country, purposely misconstrued the 2nd to further their agenda.
There is no reason why the left believes in strict gun control. If we outlawed firearms, the only people with guns other than cops would be: criminals. if they are willing to break other laws, why not gun laws?
And, the dems running are idiots. Kucinich is trying to totally outlaw handguns. this man also said:
This is a pocket copy of the Constitution which I carry with me, because I took an oath to defend the Constitution.... (he continues with his attempted impeachment of the VP)
he took an oath to defend the constitution! yet he is trying to circumvent the Constitution. If I were the Feds, i'd arrest him for civil rights violations. The first ten amendments are sacrosanct. they are our birthrights.

| | | When you wrote "When the govrnment forgets the first" you hit the nail right on the head lenahan. With the wholesale changes that the Democrats want to make to this country I believe they would feel safer if nobody was armed. This has nothing at all to do with decreasing crime, it has everything to do with them being able to lead us docilely and unarmed into the socialist nightmare they have planned for us. | | Remove This Ad By Registering. I am a financially conservative, socially liberal woman. I'm not a Hillary fan, nor am I a femi-nazi. I am a hetero-sexual (this means straight), out-doors, educated person. I just attended an educational week-end event with 200 hunters (98% male) and about once an hour, I heard someone say, "Have you heard about Hillary....." and then go on to tell a joke or speak about her anti-gun views. It does not appear to me that she wants to take our guns away. ....and everyone knows that there will always be those un-registered guns in the hands of the good guys and the bad guys. But, don't you think that having legislation on guns helps law-enforcement put away the bad guys?
Now, what I wonder is....do these people hate her because she's a woman? Because she's a democrat? Because she was married to a big jerk? Because she has an education? Because she has fat thighs? Anyone got an answer? | yeah I've run into a politician who thinks that the government should stay out of licensing and registering firearms. his name is RON PAUL |

| | | I'm voting for Ron Paul, turkeybacon.
I may have answered RepublicratDemocan in the past, but the reason I don't like Hillary is because she's a crook and a socialist. It has nothing to do with her being a woman, a Democrat, that she was married to a jerk, that she is a Yale graduate, or that she has fat thighs. As a fiscal conservative herself, RepublicratDemocan should know why we don't like her. |
