I don't know what America is ready for but if she keeps winnig this way (and I am sure her winning numbers in PA were stretched) and finally her never never satirfied stomach will be full with US presidency I definitely will say that America is ready for Communism (God, please, forbid it if you are anywhere)! If this hell happens it means most of us in this forum are minorities.

It makes me glad to see that there are people who see just how corrupt McCain, Obama and Hitlery really are.

I just hope you all find someone to support. Even if you have to swallow your spoon fed media mentality, and not vote for someone because of their electability, and actually vote your conscious.

I'll tell you guys. I voted for John Kerry in 2004. And regretted it ever since. I would have regretted voting for Bush even more. But still, the regret was there.

This time, the candidate of MY choice, may not have a snowballs chance in hatez, but you know what, I don't have to wonder, worry or regret once I right in his name on the ballot. I will be able to hold my head up and shout out load, " I VOTED FOR RON PAUL"...........And in a year or so from now, no one will be able to honestly give me a decent or even a "first graders" answer or debate about my choice.

And if they do, I can just look at the ars wwe are still in, the finacial situation we are still in, the price of commodities and gas/diesel, food, imports etc, illegal immigration, number of abortions, and income tax I am paying (which I paid over $400 this week in income tax) etc etc etc, and still hold my head high. knowing all the well, that MY candidate, really could have made a difference. If only by giving people the information they needed to make their representitives accountable for actions.

Imagine, one of Ron Pauls promices, was to reveal all the documentation about the JFK assasination if elected. Or, to bring every single troop home from around the world. No matter what you thought about that plan, imagine the soldiers and their families faces. Their kids, mothers and fathers, who haven't seen their loved ones in years on the day they step off that plane or boat.
Finally, something good would come out of the white house. For a much needed good day in America.

It sounds to me like you have the same problem in America as we have in the UK. Media driven politics with policies based on what headline-grabbing politicians think the public want to see that week with no conception of long term planning or tackling tough issues with tough solutions.

My shopping bill has gone up about 30% in the last year, petrol ("gas") costs the equivalent of $11:00 a gallon - that's right, $11:00!! Home electricity and gas are up by 15%. My employer can't afford to give me a wage rise this year and my wife got 2.75%.....

House prices are stagnant/falling as nobody can get a morgage now because of the "Credit Crunch" in the US that our banks helped to fund so the British taxpayer is lending them £50 BILLION to tide them over! What about the billions in profit they've made in the deal up to now???

We have rampant immigration from Eastern Europe, something like 2 million in the last 2 years and illegal immigration is off the scales.

Crime is rife and punishment soft. Illegal immigrants who rape and murder Brits get to stay here at our expense - we can't send them home because of their "human rights".

Will SOMEONE PLEASE step up and TAKE CONTROL of our countries? MAKE THE DIFFICUKT DECISIONS AND STOP FANNYING ABOUT. Two proud nations with a history linked like no other countries slowly going down the World's u-bend.....

I have a question for you. Since your situation seems to be very simliar to ours.

Over here, just about every election cycle, we have a good honest decent person who really understand the problems this country faces. He has the solutions to solve the problems. And he has a driving force to go through with the tough job that would be handed to him.
But, even though he gets alot of support, our media or some other force, keeps him from getting his solutions, voting record and other pertinent factors to the majority of the public.
And in the mean time, people go on voting for the same lame politicians that keep us into the same problems they promiced to get us out of.

You can thank Bush and Major for the high energy prices because of the war they've got us into and if McCain gets elected, it's no telling how much longer we'll be there with the price of oil going higher and higher. If we get involved in Iran, it will get much worse. Our world economy is heading for collapse because of this neocon policy of remaking the Middle East.
