Lifebelt Go Away Jimmy

Jimmy Carter has again shown his ignorance by blasting a sitting president's administration. Jimmy Carter didn't have a clue as president and still doesn't have a clue all these many years later.

During Carter's administration the United States experienced the highest, double digit, "Misery Index" of any modern day presidency. Over 20 countries fell to communism and Mr. Carter stated himself that we needed to learn to co-exist with the commies. He was involved with the overthrow of the Shah of Iran and is personally responsible for the Islamic Revoltion we deal with today. 44 of our citizens were taken hostage and he was unable to secure their release. It took the threat of a Reagan presidency to get them back. They did not fear Jimmy and were emboldened by his inaction. He also gave away the Panama Canal. As a private citizen, he negotiated a one-sided, unverifiable deal with the North Koreans that leave us where we are today with that regime.

But Mr. Carter did not have the market cornered on idiocy, he had a whole family full of nuts. His mother went to the hospital to give comfort to Hustler publisher Larry flint when he was shot, his wife wrote a letter to Jim Jones praising his work with the Peoples Temple where over 900 people later committed mass suicide, and his corn fed brother ran around promoting his "Billy Beer" and leaving the byproduct on airport runways.

Jimmy never had a clue and it showed when he was defeated in a landslide by Ronald Reagan and conceded defeat before the results were in from west of the Mississippi. His Vice President was later defeated in a bigger landslide four years later. Everybody in the United States, except for Jimmy himself, realized that the man couldn't find his a*s with both hands.

Jimmy Carter needs to go away, remain silent, go silently into the night. His desperation to make somebody else's administration look worse than his own is pure folly. There was none worse.

Yea, that really irked me when I read it too >> My Way News. He looks kind of evil in that picture too, wow. Carter is simply trying to help his "legacy" out by making sure Bush is looked upon worse than he is (and he KNOWS he will go down as one of the worst in the history books).

Carter has helped a lot of people after he got out of office, with the houses and all...that's the ONLY reason he has ANY respect at all now and he KNOWS it. I agree, Carter needs to go dig up some peanuts and shut up as he has no right to say who was the worst President. (Like the pot calling the kettle black).

It must be a Democrat thing.

We don't hear Bush SR running around shooting off his mouth like we hear Jimmy and Bubba Clinton. Both of them think that the rest of us still care what they think, even tho they are out of office.

The white house just stating the obvious

CRAWFORD, Texas — In a biting rebuke, the White House on Sunday dismissed former President Jimmy Carter as "increasingly irrelevant" after his harsh criticism of President Bush.

WHAT????? Jimmy Carter was absolutely ineffective?

Cheese and rice! I wish somebody told me before I ripped all the lumber and plumbing out of my house and started replacing everything with metric parts. I thought I was way behind schedule!

It's called "delusions of grandeur". Gore got started so now all of them think they are supposed to speak out of turn.

Jimmy Carter was a terrible president. His biggest mistake was the hostage crisis. had he launched a full scale war against Iran, with or without the UN or any allies at all, the US would have been held in higher esteem by the world, especially in the Middle East, by showing the world that if you mess with us, you regret it. He made a big mistake, negotiating with those who don't care what you say. Reagan got elected because he told the American people that if they held the hostages for even a second during his administration, he would invade them. They let the hostages go the day before his inauguration.

Carter should stay out of politics, raise his peanuts and help Habitat for Humanity and other noble charities and enjoy retirement and his huge pension.
