McCain is not a legal candidate, he's foreign

I'm not a constitutional scholar, but isn't there a rule that says that to become President you need to be a natural born citizen? McCain was born in Panama.

Of course, if this goes to the Supreme Court, there's [LINK POSTED BY MEMBER] Only Members Can View This No Hillary For President Forum Link. . So, I think he's probably safe. But, for the sake of our souls, wouldn't it be better to elect a legal candidate rather than ask poppy's little buddies to overrule the Constitution again?

Not that I think McCain has a chance of beating Obama. I'm sure his buddies Noriega and Torrijos will have work for him after the election.

Since both McCains parents were American citizens, it doesn't matter where he was born. Because both his parents were American citizens, so is he.

LOL, I doubt it will hit the news just like Bill and Hillary being married are supposed to be ONE...which means he/she can't run again...not a PEEP in the news. If it weren't for the internet we ALL would be so censored it would be like living in Iran man.

Thats a bit of a stretch don't you think? Religious vows keeping someone from being president....But, hey, if it keeps the Hildabeast from being President, I'm in.

It was a joke!

Oh, c'mon. Does anyone really believe the Republican party would let McCain get this far if he wasn't allowed to win? Maybe the Democrats would, but the Republicans have their sh*t together. Okay, the Bernie Kerik was embarassing, as was the Harriet Myers thing. No more so than finding out that Bill Clinton was a perv 3 years into his presidency. I mean....no one noticed before he won? Seriously? There wasn't one single female campaign staffer who said "this guy makes me want to wash up every time he pats my butt"? *LOL*

Seriously, military bases and embassies are considered US territory. He wasn't born in some thatched hut on the beach in Panama. His folks were military, and he was born on a base. There's a lot of interpretation possible here, but I challenge you to find a serious constitutional scholar who says McCain isn't eligible.

On the contrary Mr. Drig. If the Republicans had their stuff together, then there wouldn't be all this talk about a democrat running for prsident. The numbers for the primary and caucus votes wouldn't be 2 to 1 for the democrats. The Democrat party would not be leading in all the polls. The republican congressmen wouldn't be leaving their seats this year. ( I think there are 8 GOP Senators retiring this year)

If the GOP had their stuff together we would not still be in Iraq, Osama's head would be on a platter, we wouldn't be this close to a recession, our education levels would be in the top 10 not the bottom 10. And we would be friends with the middle east.

But with that said, if the democrats had their stuff together, we wouldn't be going through all of the above either...........

It feels so good to be independent.

McCain, for the life of me, I just can't see why anyone in the GOP would endorse him. As liberal as he is, you would think that they would run from him as fast as they are all running from Bush.
