I didn't say any awful event is inherently unlikely; just this one - Broom Hilda being elected president. I still believe once the debates begin and people see her sour-puss face and hear that metallic monotone every time they turn on the TV, and, most importantly, try to make sense of her "ideas," they will be jolted awake and realize what confronts them - a truly ugly bauble. It's the Howard Dean syndrome all over again: "He's unbeatable! He's unstoppable!" But as soon as people have the opportunity to cast a vote, she will crash and burn, not winning a single primary. So much for "unbeatable." That's my fondest wish anyway. But I agree, she may as well have "Antichrist" tattooed to her forehead.

WiseOne, I live in Tennessee as well, near Nashville. I haven't seen the widespread support for the Beast that you talk about but maybe I should dig a little deeper. My impression is that people aren't thinking much at all about the campaign yet.

Oh yea, ask around some. I always talk about politics and world news to people and I ask most everyone I meet whether they would vote for her...I was shocked, then came home and made this site to try and combat her...that is the whole reason I started this site (because so many said they WILL vote for her, scared me).
