Dobson May Help Hillary Get Elected

If Dobson refuses to support any of the 4 main Republican candidates for President because he feels they aren't Christian enough and influences other like minded people to not vote for President, Hillary may very well get elected. I've seen this happen before here in Texas. Dolly Madison McKenna is a pro-choice conservative Republican who told members of the religious right that "This is a political party, not a church". She upset the religious right so much, they refused to vote for her for Congress and allowed the liberal Democrat Ken Bentson (nephew of Lloyd Bentson) to get elected.

I hope people will listen to the candidates themselves and not to people like Dobson.

Fred Thompson is a good guy. I wouldn't have any misgivings about voting for him. If the choice came down to Rudy Giuliani and the thin-skinned rat Broom Hilda, I wouldn't have any qualms about voting for Rudy - or for the Republican candidate whoever it turns out to be. It just wouldn't matter what Dobson has to say about it.

I just sent in some dinero for Fred. I like him big time but he is getting off to a rocky start. Ultimately Rudy will be the candidate. He actually will have a better chance of beating the broom rider. This is going to be the most important election of our time. Check what Rangall has on paper about raising taxes. If we don't have a Republican president that can pull a few house and senate seats with us we will be in DS for at least 2 years.

Herb, if Dolly Madison (love her cakes) said it that way, she deserved to lose. Hell hath no fury like a religious zealot scorned. The religious right needs to get on board and quit holding the party hostage to their every whim. They are getting as bad as the Gay Rights crowd.

Now that I got their attention, Mr. Dobson and his following need to understand that their behavior is more hurtful than helpful to the conservative cause. The outcome drives me away from Mr. Dobson and his beliefs. Is that what he wants?
