Fred Expected to Announce White House Candidacy in July

WASHINGTON — It seems all but certain that former senator and "Law & Order" TV star Fred Thompson will formally announce his campaign for president sometime after July 4.
Sources tell FOX News that the former Tennessee senator will wait until after Independence Day to announce in hopes of finding a more interested public, and the announcement could come as soon as July 5. Although plans have not yet been solidified.

Seems like an OK guy.....need to learn more about him.
Like what are his plans for dealing with our little immigration problem.

While I've always been, and still am, a big Newt Gingrich fan, I'm really liking what Fred Thompson has to say. He appears to be as intelligent as Newt but without the negative baggage. If he gets in I hope Newt stays out and throws his support behind him.

I think Fred Thompson will, most likely, have my vote IF he runs for sure. I like him, he is quite smart. I really liked the commercial he did where he made Michael Moore look like the moron he is...AWESOME job, wonder what he could do with world leaders? Hmmm....
