Do you really think that a person that would take this stand on abortion would have a chance of getting most women's votes? I'm against abortion as well but feel in some instances a woman has the right to choose. He does really sound like a good potential candidate and I agree with a great deal of his positions. I'm just thinking that this election is way to important to put forth an individual with his desire to change the Constitution on this issue, at this time.
Abortion/Life
1. Right to Life Amendment:
I would amend the U.S. Constitution and provide blanket protection to all unborn children from the moment of conception by prohibiting any state or federal law that denies the personhood of the unborn. Likewise, I have also introduced the Right to Life Act, which would legally define “personhood” as the moment of conception and, therefore, guarantee all constitutional rights and protections, including life, to the unborn without utilizing a constitutional amendment.

Absolutely. And I agree with him. Abortion is murder and having obviously we need an amendment to the constitution, because there are way too many out there who need that line drawn as to when a fetus becomes a "person".

MrsCinAZ: Don't disagree, but believe that a person putting forth that specific agenda won't be elected to President of the U.S. at this point of time. As a civilization we need to evolve to your thinking and beliefs. Just don't think we are there yet. Got to admit he's a gutsy guy.

The Republican Party will have to go back to Reagan basics to elect Duncan Hunter---personally, I like him!! But the Rep party has turned gutless in making firm stands on principles....
