It has always been Bill Clinton's strategy to wrap up the black vote and then let his opposition divide the rest of the vote with him. The Clintons were not counting on having a popular black in the race against them.

Carville is trying to keep the opposition quiet about the Clinton scandals by saying "the politics of personal destruction" will hurt the opposition. Carville and the Clintons know they have lots of skeletons that they want to keep in the closet. The media may have kept quiet about these skeletons when the opponents were Republicans but not now. If Hillary can't win the general election, they would rather have somebody else. I'm afraid that someone else may end up being Gore as much as the media and Hollywood are slobbering over him now and his sensational nonsense that should have never gotten an Oscar for best doccumentary.

This is my point exactly, Herb. The thread is, "Why Hillary will not be president." With the weak slate that the dem. party had to that point, Hillary was the best they had even though she had more skeletons in her closet than a "Three Stooges in Scotland" marathon. With the arrival of Obama, she not only lost the far left vote, but the black vote too. She is now fair game and will be torpedoed if she tries to go on the offensive regardless of what the hell Carville says. My mother use to quote me an old saying; "There's no honor amongst thieves." Do you or anyone else actually believe that Obama or Edwards gives a #### about what Hillary or Carville want? They want to win as much as she does and to tell you the truth, Hillary is still in this thing on ego only. She' done!

Hillary lost any chance of my vote long ago. For a women to lie to herself about her husbands infidelity (first campaign) and then lie again when caught dead to rights (Monica)- she even blamed Bill's dead mother for his lack of control over his hormones. If she can't be true to herself, how can anyone expect her to be truthful about anything at all.

Herb: What two Presidents have Hollywood and Michael Moore help elect in the past two terms? Hollywood is over rated. Their views are so out of touch with even main stream Democrats. I love watching them make a fool of themselves. I live in CA, following the last Presidential Election the Somebody put up a big bill board on Hollywood Blvd with the pictures of all the usual suspects and Mikey thanking them for electing George W.Bush.
