Opinion On V.P. Condi

That will definately be a wait and see Herb. "W" was able to get 8% of the black vote and since then the black middle and upper class have only gotten bigger. They won't be so willing to embrace a socialist like Obama. Hillary also has many black women who may be more likely to switch allegience to a black woman rather than a black man. We'll just have to wait and see.

I seriously doubt Condi would accept, period. I doubt anything will help McCain win in reality.

From what I've been hearing WiseOne, she's campaigning for the spot. Maybe she's had a change of heart. I thing Condi on the ticket would go a long way in bringing it home for McCain.

Condi is saying no to the VP spot, but she might want to reconsider. A new poll shows that a McCain/Rice ticket would defeat both an Obama/Clinton ticket and a Clinton/Obama ticket in New York. That's virtually unheard of now days, for the Republicans to carry New York. When was the last time that happened? If Rice can boost the Republican ticket in New York, she can surely do it all over the country. Granted, Obama would do better without Hillary stinking up the ticket, she will only drag him down and I hope he's smart enough to not put her on the ticket, but still, this really says something about Rice's popularity. nohil-billy might be on to something here.

Whether she's a willing participant or not, Condi will answer the call if asked to serve. This woman has class, intelligence, talent. and experience above and beyond those running for the number one spot and her conservative credentials will secure the base for the often wayward McCain.
