I bet you'll all be surprised when it comes to actual election time! Hillary can morph a million times, and Americans will forget and vote for her anyway...why, because they don't pay attention!

| | | Clinton is a conservative I have to confess, I may be unpopular on this forum. Not because I like Hillary Clinton, which I most certainly do not, but because I am a rather liberal Democrat, despite my living in Salt Lake City, Utah. Many of you probably dislike Clinton because of her radical liberal opinions, some of which I tend to agree with, but I find myself hating her because of her very conservative points. I will list some of the most prominant of these in no particular order:
Hillary Clinton voted for the war in Iraq, for which she has still not publically apologized for, despite the fact that the vast majority of Americans, and even the majority of Republicans, do not support the war any longer.
Hillary Clinton voted for George W. Bush's proposed "torture bill," as it was affectionately called. This bill called for the legal torture of any terrorists or people who have directly or indirectly aided terrorism. The bill did not pass by a longshot, with only a few very conservative Republican votes, along with Hillary's vote.
Hillary Clinton voted for the Patriot Act, not only the first time it went through the Senate, when only Russ Feingold, a Democrat, voted against it, but also when the bill was ammended to become the very controversial subject it is today.
Hillary Clinton was the very strong sponser of a movement to ban certain video games from sale in the United States. She claimed that some games were violent and encouraged violence in society. While this may be true, I certainly don't want a president who will ban a very legal form of entertainment.
Hillary Clinton voted for the No Child Left Behind Act, sponsered by president George W. Bush. This bill seemed reasonable in theory, and thus passed, but not a single teacher or education official or administer was consulted by those who wrote the bill, nor by Hillary, who voted for it anyway.
Sorry that was so long. I hope some of you braved it out and read my reasons for disliking Hillary Clinton, though. I have plenty more smaller reasons, as all of us do. If anyone would like to discuss it with me further, feel free to contact me. |

| | | No, you will not be unpopular here. Anyone is welcome and ALL opinions are welcome here. I am a MODERATE Conservative, which means I DO welcome other opinions and think them over. I enjoyed your post and thanks for sharing your thoughts with us. Our main goal is really not Republican, etc., it is mostly to keep a soul-less zombie from occupying the highest office in the land. I simply say NEVER another Clinton for President.
:)

| | | Welcome Wayne of Goats: You are certainly welcomed here. I have a heads up for you and unfortunately if you believe me you will be able to vote for Hillary but the truth will set you free. Hillary has never done anything conservative in her life. She is to the left of left, cold calculating, and votes to support mainstream causes when it suits her desire to appear like a normal middle of the road individual. She learned her lessons on triangualtion well from her husband. I'm not sure you have your facts right on the alleged George Bush "legal torture bill" Feel free to post a reference. Your comment on the No Child Left Behind Act "not a single teacher or education official or administer was consulted by those who wrote the bill", nor by Hillary, who voted for it anyway, is dubious at best. What, you have talked to a few teachers who are frustrated for the accountability and additional paperwork? I've heard them whine here as well, doesn't not mean that teachers weren't consulted. If you check, W ran a similar program that went well in Texas. Welcome aboard. |

| | | Welcome WayneOfGoats, I look forward to you defining your beliefs in other threads on this site.
You're right about those violent videos dude, Hillary has no right. She also wants to pass more gun laws. A perfectly legal form of entertainment. Can't wait to see how you feel about that.
No child left behind? Mr. Bush had a very good record on education while governor of Texas. What's wrong with having teachers held accountable for the job they're supposedly doing. Over 50% dropout rate. Looking forward to hearing your opinion.
The torture bill? Go to Michael Savage.com and watch the beheadings of contractors and media personal kidnapped while trying to do their jobs, then tell me why I should listen to you advocate for the terrorists.
Welcome aboard WayneOfGoats, look forward to debating you. |

| | | I agree with everything you said, WayneOfGoats. I also dislike her for all those reasons. I also agree with the conservative Republicans in here that don't like her for her socialistic viewpoints. Last, but not least, I don't like her because she and her husband are possibly the most corrupt people to have ever occupied the White House, including Nixon. |

| | | I identify myself as a 1960s liberal, you know the kind who examines both side of the issues before making a decision;a liberal thinker if you will. who would have thought then that attaching liberal to a concept, cause or person would become the craziness it has become: kind of a synonym for Nazi? political correctness, which is really more about language than anything else drove me into the camp of the conservatives. when I worked in the mental health field I was known disparagingly as the social worker of the middle class. I always thanked them for noticing. an opinion is one's right but I i care more for informed opinions.

| | | Hillary (HRC)says she is proud to share the initials with the human rights commission (HRC). How consistent for once again her initials as well as many of her positions started out as something else. With all the bright articulate women in this country why out-dated, out-moded and clearly out-raged Hillary?
