Not quite, according to a review of the public record – and according to the recollections of a legislator and others who pushed a measure to divest Alaskan holdings in Sudan-linked investments.

"The [Palin] administration killed our bill," said Alaska state representative Les Gara, D-Anchorage. Gara and state Rep. Bob Lynn, R-Anchorage, co-sponsored a resolution early this year to force the Alaska Permanent Fund – a $40 billion investment fund, a portion of whose dividends are distributed annually to state residents – to divest millions of dollars in holdings tied to the Sudanese government.

Exactly, nohil-billy. McCain wants to give up on Michigan already, but Palin spoke up and said, "Not so fast, let me try," or words to that effect.

There's a reason this debate had such a big audience: people seem to be fascinated by Sarah Palin and she needs to be out there as much as possible in the next month.

Just so she doesn't go on any more interviews and show the public what a dufus she is. The McCain campaign will probably allow her to give speeches and take interviews on "fair and balanced" Fox, but they'll keep her away from the other networks. She gets stumped if she's asked about anything besides her family and her favorite recipe. Is she running for VP or Miss Congeniality?

Guess I missed that one. So, what is her favorite recipe?

Actually, she was much more sure-footed in the debate than Biden, who fabricated something like 14 more lies and inaccuracies. Palin, for her part, got the name wrong of the American general in Afghanistan.

Corvair, read my post directly under this post about the VP debate and all the misinformation both candidates spewed out of their mouths. Palin made alot more mistakes than the name of the American general in Afghanistan.
