Discuss How To Halt Hillary Clinton In 2008What is your stratagem to help stop Hillary Clinton in 2008? Are the Republicans, Democrats and Independents going about stopping Hillary the right way in your point of view?
1 - Don't be shy about telling people what you know about her.
2 - Be active in the blog world, this spreads the word more than you realize. It also brings voters out who would otherwise stay home. As conservatives, our ideas and values are superior, and when written, the supuriority is magnified. Go to Hillary Clinton Revealed to post to tell your Clinton story!
3 - Donate to worthy conservative causes. We need to match the money from the left!
4 - Support Obama ... like him or hate him, he is a far better choice. Our only hope in having a republican victory, is for Hillary to loose the nomination.
5 - Pray

Welcome, Ed! I agree with each and every point you made above. We need to tell the world how we feel about Hillary and make SURE we stop this nightmare in it's tracks before it really is too late. We lost one battle already as she just got $2.6 million the other night to battle us...I'll do ALL that I can with this site and my other site: Republican MySpace (blogs and all), but I am only one person for sure. I spend a LOT of money keeping these up so I, for one, am trying my hardest at this point...no way in hell I can match her $2.6 million though, LOL. IF I did, this site would bust WIDE open! HAHA.

Very happy to see this site --
Yes, I too hope people aren't afraid to speak up about why they do not want Hillary for President. I may not have time to come back here regularly, so I'll share indepth what I feel is crucial: I do think it's important to spread the word on various websites. I am an independent and haven't decided whom to vote for per the 2008 presidency. Yet I am convinced that Hillary's devious tactics and her lack of political smarts would yield disastrous results.
To defeat Hillary, these are my guidelines for myself which I invite others on this site to consider: take a page from Hillary's own campaign book, the rapid-response approach. Go to various political websites to register immediate rebuttals to whatever Hillary is trying to fudge next. Her campaign never expected to be mimicked like that. Be polite. Don't argue with Hillary supporters, some of whom become more shrill, illogical, and unhinged with every anti-Hillary opinion stated. A few are bullies who are rightly frightened when hard-hit by posted truths about Hillary. I've commented on the HuffingtonPost.com board. A sizeable number of posters there, including liberals, do not like Hillary. One irate Hillary defender accused me of being a front for an organization, trying to mess with people's minds, and tried to lure me into a tit-for-tat. I don't give any opponent that chance. I merely continue to air my heartfelt concerns, posting my feedback about Hillary in a clear manner, and with civility. (Also, a new nasty tactic on some website message boards, is to flag as abusive, any post by an anti-Hillary writer. If that happens, and you face being banned, just email the site staff and speak up, and include copies of all your postings, all courteous, non-abusive). Also, it's important not to exaggerate. Don't insult Hillary. That's what her staff is said to do per rivals. Stick to the Hillary facts. Ignore the flaws and dramas in Hillary's personal life. Many people don't want to hear it; emphasize instead her voting record, her lack of perception, her lack of experience on important issues, quote from her speeches, and from Bill Clinton's autobiography, showing how currently, she is piggybacking on any positive achievement by her husband when he was in the Oval Office. Bring up the dissatisfaction of groups of upstate New York voters over Hillary's failure to implement certain campaign promises to improve their economic situation. The pro-Hillary's and the anti-Hillary's are basically set in their ways. Don't waste time trying to change a pro-Hillary person's mind. Dialogue with political swing voters. Moreover, an intriguing group of people are Democrats who say they dislike Hillary but would settle for and vote for her if she were to become the nominee. When I do find opportunites to dialogue with such Democrats, I appeal to the priority of country over political party, so that hopefully they will support another candidate. Like a broken record, I keep stressing on various posts that Hillary has had 16 years to prove that she does not want to polarize, or that she has grown beyond that, and that, nevertheless, with her it is still the same-old, same-old pattern.
Per her campaign wealth, don't feel intimidated by that. Yes. it buys her endorsements, and more air-time, more in-your-face time, but "more-Hillary" also translates into more polarization. She may win the Democratic nomination; but the general election will be much more unpredictable. Unless major ballot-rigging occurs, there's an excellent chance Hillary's quest will not succeed. Finally, I'd say in your endeavors, portray Hillary, not as a monster, an evil hypocrite, but as I sense she really is: as a very confused, not very insightful wannabee who has shown little ability to bring people together, or to offer a solid, well-thought out platform to solve serious national and global challenges. I give Hillary her due -- she has certain talents, she's not without intelligence, her family and fans appreciate her, she's experienced grief and loss as we all have in life, and there's no need to hate her. Yet we do need to encourage her to realize the political arena is not her forte, her tactics are unacceptable, and her delusion that she is a capable leader cannot be fed any longer. Let's trust we can do that, and again, I stress, let's be truthful, be courteous, be relentless.
The advice of SpeakTruthtoHillary sounds uncannily like the broom riders policy of "no politics of personal destruction." While we're busy soft-selling our opposition to Hillary, what will they be doing? I think it's important that we stress her weaknesses, hers scandals, and her ambitions to socialize this country.
If SpeakTruth may not have time to come here regularly then I can only wonder what his/her motive is to stop by and instruct us to basically tone it down. Can anybody vouch for this member?
My comments and how they're expressed on various political sites vouch for me, NHB.
As many people do, I work and I allot certain times during the week to perusing political websites, and rotate my postings accordingly. Your time-restraints may differ, and YMMV.
You consider what I suggested as a "soft-sell" approach. Hillary's political votes are documented and fair game. Debating her character has only resulted in BC's winning two presidential terms, HC's gaining two Senate terms and gunning for more.
I've clarified for you, and that suffices for me. The Hillary machine delights in seeing anti-Hillary activists suspect and argue with each other. You may not like what I say, but maybe others might like to hear my input, as I do, theirs.
Sincerely,
SPEAKTRUTHTOHILLARY

Speaktruth, you have my sincerest apologies. I did figure you for a Hillary backer trying to coerce us into letting up on her. If you believe that the softer approach will work, have at it. I have no patience for liberals anymore and avoid talking to them whenever possible.
Hi NoHil-Billy,
Thank you for your wonderful and very appreciated note. I look forward to reading all that you and other posters continue to say here. When I discovered this site recently, immediately it felt as if I had stumbled upon a safe haven for likeminded people to brainstorm, re-group, recharge (and if desired, to speak to pro-HC supporters who
comment on threads). Well, back to work.
Sincerely - SpeakTruth

This may or may not come as a surprise, but there's more profanity on "The Internets" than in traditional media. Lots more. The enterprising blogger Patrick Ishmael ([LINK POSTED BY MEMBER] Only Members Can View This No Hillary For President Forum Link. ) did an, excuse the pun, quick and dirty analysis of the ideological divide in online trash-talking. Make that, ideological chasm. He did a Google search for comedian George Carlin's famous "seven dirty words" on popular lefty and righty blogs. Lefty Daily Kos took top honors with 146,000 pages containing one or more of the words in question. Its lefty competitor, The Huffington Post, was close behind with 109,000. No right-wing site reached even 10,000 on the Carlin scale.
A commenter at the site refined the methodology to account for overall site size, finding a "'7 words' to pages" ratio of "1 profanity every 2 pages" for Daily Kos and "1 every 121 pages" for the Free Republic ("the foulest" of the righty sites). The study "isn't scien tific," Ishmael warns, "but hey, it's pretty @*%#$&! close."
I'm going down another road now that we've tossed out the Country Club Conservatives, it's time for me to hit the Republicans in my state as to why they have kept their mouths shut for so long. I'm a squeaky wheel advocate. Time to turn Michigan back to the New Republicans who stand for U.S. Sovereignty, Freedom of Speech and give them a hit of Cicero: A Nation can survive its fools and even the ambitious, but it can't survive Treason from within. This is what our nation is facing so let's begin all our efforts as we see fit and luck to truly removing those liberals and Republican traitors who have decided that contacting our Representatives demanding redress is inappropriate hyperbolae from talk show hosts. A note to Diane Fienstein who made that statement: Talk show host Dr. Michael Savage was not the recipient of The Freedom of Speech award for lying.
