| I can't prove who did it, but in 1996 Clinton campaigned in Dayton, Ohio. For his visit's duration our phone lines gave the message that the number has been changed or is out of service. We did not even know he was coming to town and we were supposed to meet but everybody was cut off from eachother until Bill left. I heard later that this is not uncommon when a president visits. My guess is that the secret service did it because we showed up on a list as contributors to Perot's campaign. Since then, I realize that you can expect technology priviledges to fail at certain times if you start getting involved in politics. In my case, I don't think it was conspiracy so much as a prudent measure to protect the president. If you want to research a conspiracy... look closely at what happened to Nader in 2004! Democrats have Tonya Harding's Playbook and will use it just as much as any Republican would. I shudder when I imagine what kind of dirty tricks Hillay will have in store for Nader in 2008. Thank God this is America, because otherwise Nader would have been asssassinated by the Democrats by now. I'm sure a hit man is cheaper than an ambush of lawsuits. I guarrantee Hillary has her own conspiracy cooking up in her war room to keep Nader and his supporters suppressed in 2008.
