Obama, Farrakhan Share Cover Of Wright's Monthly

JERUSALEM – Sen. Barack Obama's face several times graced the cover of an anti-American magazine run by his longtime pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr., appearing on one issue alongside Nation of Islam chief Louis Farrakhan.

Issues of Wright's Trumpet magazine reportedly have suggested America was guilty of genocide in Africa, decried the Fourth of July as the "national holiday of the dominant culture," referred to America as a "diaspora" for blacks, repudiated American patriotism and entertained suggestions the Bush administration knew about the 9-11 attacks before they were carried out.

"It seems inconceivable that, in 20 years, Obama would never have picked up a copy of Trumpet," writes Stanley Kurtz in a lengthy Weekly Standard expose of Wright's magazine. "Obama himself graced the cover. ... There can be no mistaking it. What did Barack Obama know and when did he know it? Everything. Always."

I'm amazed that such an intelligent and perceptive individual as Barack Obama had absolutely no idea what was going on around him for the last twenty years at the Trinity United Church of Christ.

You have not shown any proof that Obama at present has the same beliefs as William Ayers or Reverend Wright. You just keep on with the same guilt by association mantra. Republicans are going to have to do better than that if they're going to defeat Obama. People are getting tired of that same old refrain.

McCain is toast.

His talking points are all dead.

His appeasement argument is shot down on 2 fronts.
First, Bush by attacking Obama yesterday just took most of the bite out of the argument because McCain will now be a Bush clone when making the argument.
Second, whatever credibility was left in the argument evaporated when the story that McCain had previously favored talks with Hammas broke.

The Rev. Wright argument is dead as it backfired in the congressional elections, yet McSame will try to beat the dead horse which will likely backfire. It will also turn emphasis onto his own pastor problem which is a two-fer, Hagee and his obvious rants, and now his holocaust as an act of god remark. and Rod Parsley advocating genocide.

McCain is toast.
