Dick Morris Has Changed His Mind, He Now Thinks Obama Will Win

Dick Morris has been predicting since 2004 that Hillary would be the Democratic nominee. He has now changed his mind.

Obama has proven that he can win a diversity of states such as his wins last weekend in states as diverse as Washington, Louisiana, Nebraska, and Maine. Morris said that Hillary currently doesn't seem to be able to win any states without a large Latino population.

Morris said that after Obama wins Virginia, Maryland, Washington D. C., Wisconsin and Hawaii, he will have a lead of 100 delegates even counting committed super delegates.

Morris says at the worst, it will be a wash on March 4. He said that Obama will win Ohio, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Hillary could win Texas because of the large Hispanic population, but with Texas being an open primary state and with the Republican race being more or less settled, Republicans and independents will vote in the Democrat primary to defeat her. Obama might take all 4 states.

The rest of the states, Morris expects Obama will carry almost all of them. By convention time, Obama will have more delegates than Hillary can offset with her super delegates. I don't expect the Party to give Hillary Michigan and Florida. To do so would cause a serious split in the Democrat Party that would surely spell doom for them in the general election.
