John Dean to Broker Deal Before the Convention

John Dean wants the nominee to be determined before the convention. There are only 8 weeks between the convention and the election. That would not give enough time to unify the party and would not be enough time to mount a campaign against the Republican nominee.

The last primary is the Puerto Rico contest in June. If neither candidate emerges as the nominee after that primary, he wants to get both campaigns together and work out some type of deal.
