| | | I'm a new member Jennifer I've been reading your entry's for the past few weeks and it seems like you are all a bunch of hostile white men that fear women in power. Hillary, offers so much for out county, free health care, bringing our troops home, she is a supporter of the little person in America be it male or female. You guys are really sad. Hillary will win the election because there are way more intelligent women then those of you that spend your time talking to yourselves in this forum. She is the only hope to save our planet and America. We need a woman, men have screwed things up enough. Don't patronize me with your answers or I'll make you look bad in front of your buddies. Jennifer | Dear Jennifer: Do you have any understanding on the subjects of Economics? If Hillary were to provide us with "free health care" would she be paying for it or the U.S. Tax Payer? Jennifer, sweetie, nothing is free except in la la land of State Funded Universities. |

| | | Jennifer- I am an intelligent woman. I can not think of anything worse for this country or the world if Hillary becomes President. You need to wake up girl! Do you really want to be fighting the terrorists over here again? I don't want them anywhere near American soil, and don't kid yourself they will be if we pull out of Iraq before it is finished. As for "free" health care for all, who do you think will be paying for it? I really do not want to be living in a socialist country, which is what we will become. Name me one socialist country where the little people did well. And check out the teeth on the people that come from countries with free dental care. Do you know in canada, where they have free health care you have to make an appointment at least 6 months in advance to see a Doctor? I would love a woman President, and I for one was hoping Condie would run, but I am terrified of Hillary- I cannot think of anything worse for our country!

| | | Jennifer,
Health care is not free. Some Europeans pay as much as $7.00 a gallon for gasoline, largely to pay for their socialized medicine. When people think they are getting something for free, they use more of it, in this case they go to the doctor over every little ailment. This drives up medical costs so the government has to either raise taxes to pay these higher costs or they have to ration such as cutting down on the number of beds in hospitals or the number of diagnostic equipment. People are then put on waiting lists because of the shortages that have been created. The public rejected Hillary Care when they learned it would create rationing. The Democratic Congress heard from the people back home and turned down Hillary's scheme.
Hillary's policies hurt the little people of this country by raising taxes, more money goes to the public sector which takes money from the private sector and results in less money to create fewer jobs and thus more unemployment.
I have nothing against voting for women, just this one. I like Condoleesa Rice, even though I don't agree with her foreign policy, I don't believe in a meddling foreign policy. Hillary would also support a meddling foreign policy, however. I just think Condoleesa is a more honest person than Hillary. I would support Condoleesa over Hillary, Gore, Edwards, Obama, and McCain any day.
With Hillary's socialized medicine and her high taxes to pay for her big government, the quality of our health care will go down and our economy will be wrecked.
Jennifer, what will Hillary do to be a savior of the world like you think? |

Jennifer, sweetie, nothing is free except in la la land of State Funded Universities. | I would prefer if you didn't call me sweetie if you want to have a meaningful dialog. Last time I checked my education at the "la la university" wasn't free, I'm still paying off my student loans. As far as health care being free, I understand what you mean, but what difference does it make when the government is already giving hugh tax breaks to drug companies, and major corporations. Maybe some of the profits that the oil companies are making off of us could be used for health care. I recently heard Hillary give a speech where she said she wanted those profits, I think for developing new types of fuel, but why not health care? | | Remove This Ad By Registering. Do you actually believe that we are not the cause of all the violence in the Middle East. Of course we were attacked on 9-11 but not by Iraq. The Iraqi people are basically non sectarian, what we are doing there is causing a civil war among the Sunni and the Shia that were not fighting under Saddam. They won't come over here that is just a Neo-Con myth to get people like you hysterical. If W. had any brains at all he would have went directly to Iran if he wanted to continue the war on terror or finish things in Afghanistan.
As far as socialists countries, people in England, Sweden, and Canada are doing quite well. I was a foreign exchange student in Sweden, while their tax base is higher than ours, their crime rate, and health care are great. Ever hear of the Karolina Institute? What you say about Canada is another myth perpetrated by the right. I have friends in Canada and they are very happy with their health care. I've traveled Canada extensively on vacations and talked with the people, the streets are clean, crime is much less than the U.S. and just like Sweden the people have good teeth. |

| | | Jennifer,
Hillary's problem is arrogance. She thinks that she and her government cronies know more about business than business and consumers. Decision making needs to stay in the private sector between providers and consumers and that includes doctors and patients. Hillary thinks she knows better how we should run our lives than we do. The only purpose in the marketplace for the government should be for protecting us against force and fraud. |

| | | America was built and made great by capitalism. The huge tax breaks you refer to are there for a reason- do you want more companies to leave America and go over seas where they can get better tax breaks? The corporations and the rich pay the majority of the taxes in this country already, not the little people... As for taking a company's profits just because goverment chooses to, where would it end? Lets take Mc Donalds profits because they contributed to the medical problems, how about the neighborhood taverns profits to pay for rehab for alchoholics? I do not want to start living in a communist country where the goverment can step in and take whatever they want of yours. Ultimatly the little person will be the one who loses. Look at emminent domaine, any city, town or village in the country can now step in and take your home if they so choose. I am absolutly terrified of this woman getting into office and maybe being able to make this happen.

Jennifer, what will Hillary do to be a savior of the world like you think? | What will Hillary do to be the savior of the world? I think we have one Savior already and he's in Heaven. As far has Hillary being more meddlesome than Ms. Rice, how can you say that when she has promised to end the war in Iraq immediately. I trust that you can back your assertion that gas costs $7.00 a gallon to finance health care in some European countries. Last time I checked they were all on the metric system. Their gas costs per liter is a truer reflection of it's supply and demand than the artificially deflated prices we have had due to our connections and relationship with the Saudis to keep the oil flowing and prices down for the U.S. and go against OPEC. They don't seem to be playing that game now and so we see rising prices, not for this reason alone, but because we have trouble refining crude oil in the U.S. and the demand for crude is up in the third world.
Your argument about something being free causes more use is rather weak. Who wants to go to the Dr. if they aren't sick? Air is free, do you breathe more? Water is free basically, do you drink more? The sun is free do you stay out in it all day? Give people a little more credit. You buy into too many Neo-Con myths. I'm supporting Hillary because she will end the war immediately, she is really very smart, has a great deal of background and has learned from her first attempt with health care to make it more private sector. A country as good as the U.S. that blows money all over the world with a bankrupt foreign policy of giving money away to third world dictators to buy them off for the reason de jur can certainly afford to use that money to provide health care for all Americans. |

| | | Jennifer - they weren't fighting under saddam because they were getting slaughtered and they were terrified. And you are dreaming if you don't think that it is the terrorists over there behind all the killings now. I think Iran is a bigger worry now, but we need to finish in Iraq first.
I am so glad your freinds have nice teeth- My husband grew up in Ireland and we have had to pay a lot of money for him to get nice teeth. He has told me horror stories and we will never live over there as much as we love it. What is so wrong with the American people actually paying for their own health care?
As far as crime goes maybe you should vote for some conservative judges that actually put criminals behind bars...
