| | | Democrats, please help me out here. If I didn't vote for Bill, then what is it about Hillary that would make me vote for her? How does a Hillary Clinton administration attract voters who didn't vote for a Bill Clinton administration?
How does Hillary attract a Dole voter?
How does Hillary attract a Perot voter?
How does Hillary attract a Nader voter?
I don't wish to be overly insulting in this topic thread, but may I ask how Hillary can even possibly attract a Bill Clinton voter?
I honestly expect to never get an answer to these questions, but I would genuinely appreciate a credible effort from anyone who can explain this to me. If you need a little help, listen to James Carville. He's been trying to use a vulcan mind meld on Perot voters and I am sceptical that it is going to work.

She is counting on uneducated first time women voters to slide her under the door. If she came in 5th among 5 Democratic hopefuls in the moveon.org vote, which she did and I've posted, she is toast. As long as Obama doesn't play the game of Driving Miss Daisy, make that Crazy as VP, I want her to win and be humulated by the Republican that will kick her corpulant body to the curb. It's just not fair if that happens, it's because there was a "Vast Right Wing Conspiracy." Be clear broom rider, when you are finally snuffed in 08 if not before it will be because the American Voter is not as ignorant as you think they are. |

| | | NoHitlery, I misread your line above at first. I thought you said "the Republican that will lick her corpulant body to the curb." I almost had to reach for the barf bag. |

Get serious dude, if Hillary is the answer, then they have the wrong question! Never Forget, if he doesn't why should we? | | Remove This Ad By Registering. If you need a little help, listen to James Carville. He's been trying to use a vulcan mind meld on Perot voters and I am sceptical that it is going to work. | As a small reminder, Bill Clinton won both presidential elections he ran in. Hillary doesn't have to do better than that to win...winning is winning. That being said...
Perot voters want to know the economy will improve. They won't vote Republican because on the debacle the last 2 Republican presidents made of the economy.
Nader voters will vote Democrat, for the most part. We learned our lesson in 2000. (Yes, I voted Nader, but only because I voted in California and knew Gore would take it by a large margin. I voted Kerry in 2004). Sure, there's still some die-hard left-of-liberals out there, and they'll vote independant again. There's no helping that.
Dole voters are the "anyone but a Democrat" club. On this board, it's what I refer to as "y'all". This club has shrunk pretty dramatically due to the mismanagement of the past 7 years. If Iraq, the economy, the national infrastructure and our standing in the world hasn't convinced y'all yet, nothing will. So, she loses 27% of the vote, or whatever the Republican approval rating is nowadays. Big deal.
The big question now is how McCain will convince those who
- Don't want to stay in Iraq for another 100 years, at a cost of $8B/month
- Want someone who can manage an economy with more than "give tax breaks to the rich"
- Want someone who can unite the country, and not use the old divisions to win votes
- Want an effective strategy to fight religious extremism
That crowd, or what I call "most of America", will vote Obama.

| | | You know Drig, your hero Bill Clinton says y'all. As a matter of fact he says he prefers Arkansas women to New York women because a New York woman says, "Yes, you may."
An Arkansas woman says, "Yes, y'all may." |

Originally Posted by nohil-billy You know Drig, your hero Bill Clinton | This is a common misconception among Republicans. Generally, Bill Clinton was well liked. It only looks good against the backdrop of the previous 4 and subsequent 7 years.
I know I've listed this before, but some problems I had w/ President Bill (notice, there's nothing about blowjobs in here...I like blowjobs, in general):
1) Telecommunications Deregulations Act
2) Strengthening restrictions on the exportation of cryptography
3) He blamed everything on terrorism (okay, maybe I wasn't seeing the real terrorists in the bushes)
4) NAFTA
5) Increased the number of available H1 visas
6) Don't-ask-don't-tell
I'm sure there's others, but it's been a while.
Also, other people are assuming I'm a Hillary supported. Not true. I'm 100% behind Barack Obama. Hillary's better than anyone on the right, but that's not saying much. We don't need another 4 years of jingoist bullsh*t.
