He went further by saying that the Democratic party couldn't win with "Eggheads and African Americans," pointing out that that was Dukakis' base and he only won ten states.
Hillary Clinton knows he needs that white, blue collar vote to win. So as long as she can keep this nomination process about race, which it already is, she has a valid point that she's the more viable candidate.
