| Hillary will not give up the chase for the nomination regardless of the math. Had she lost three out of four last night she would have continued on, and here's why.
We are finally seeing Barack Obama scrutinized and it's not pretty. On talk radio, issues have been raised about his association and friendship with the founder and leader of The Weathermen terrorist group from the 70's. The $3.5 million dollar loan to Tony Rezko by an Iraqi businessman just before Obama purchased his mansion, through Rezco, on the south side of Chicago. His help campaigning for his cousin in Kenya who now shares power after a brutal uprising against the regime that won the election. His membership in an Afro-centric church with racist undertones and the endorsement of Louis Farrakhan, leader of the Nation of Islam which Barack embraced in college.
It appears that the campaign that has deftly and subtly played the race card whenever attacked has a little bit of a problem with people of the lighter persuassion. Barack tells his followers that the most qualified candidate is the one that showed better judgement. Well, if you're judged by the company you keep, Obamas judgement should be questionable at best.
Why should Hillary get out? Obama's house of cards could come tumbling down at any time and she'll be the only candidate left to fill the void. Last night may have been the start. It could be that Obama's campaign didn't attack Hillary's baggage because he has so much of his own. He just underestimated her willingness to exploit it. |
