Liberals have almost always trumpeted their so-called progressiveness much as the 14 year old who has sex for the first time and then struts around as if he invented it.

When Elizabeth Dole and Alan Keyes were both running in the same presidential primary a few years ago, there was no fanfare from the Republicans. And there was no fanfare from the press or the Bush Administration when he had four African Americans in key cabinet positions and two women, Condi and Karen Hughes, as his closest advisers.

The Democrats are like the types who would hold a press conference to donate $1,000.00 to the childrens hospital, while the Republicans would slip a check in the box provided.
