| "Hillary is trying to score points off Obama for his references to Reagan" This whole issue just goes to show how polarizing Hillary is and how Obama is willing to reach over the the other aisle to work with Republicans. Hillary is a divider, Obama is a uniter. The Republicans didn't berate Nixon when he praised Wilson. They didn't berate Newt Gingrich when he praised FDR. They didn't berate Dan Quail when he praised JFK, onlyBentson did for another reason. Hopefully, Hillary is just turning more people off, but in order to get the nomination, she is attracting the hard core anti-Republican Democrats. This is a scorched earth tactic of hers that may backfire in the general election by turning off more independents that she needs to win. |
