DNC Strips Florida Of '08 Primary Delegates

[ The Democratic Party has taken a swipe at the nation's fourth biggest state, stripping Florida of all of its '08 delegates as punishment for jumping the gun with its Jan. 29 primary. Florida's early date could force other states to move up and up to stay at the front of the pack.

I not sure if I understand the ramifications of this move by the DNC. Wouldn't they be alienating the Floridians and essentially writing off Florida? Somebody please explain!!!

It sure sounds like it. WY is wanting to move their primary up, but the GOP told they will do the same thing if they do. Its not like we have that many to start with.
