Unfortunately, the latest Zogby poll now has her up by 10 points in Pennsylvania. Her campaign to win over Pennsylvania deer hunters seems to be working.

Unfortunately she's running against another scary freak so it's a lose/lose situatuion. I've asked this before and I'll ask again, this is the best the Democratic Party has to offer? They had eight people running and these two are the cream of the crop?

The same can be said about the Republican Party.

I agree to a point Herb. Over all, the Republicans fielded an outstanding array of candidates including Ron Paul. How McCain pulled it off is beyond me. Now I must decide which will do the least harm.

You know Herb, you get on this site and crucify Hillary for what she does and what she proposes to do, but you want to give an even more liberal, relative unknown with an increasingly jaded past a pass. Obama's is truly a campaign about NOTHING but that doesn't seem to bother you.

I'm no big McCain fan but I have to make a measured decision as to what's best for this country. If I won't vote for Hillary because of what she believs, then I can't vote for her ideologically identical adversary. My hatred for Hillary will not blind me to the fact that Obama is the exact same thing with darker skin and a pen*s.

Now you can go ahead and vote for an independent if you want, but I believe that's how we got the first Clinton. I know you're an atheist and you seem to have a blame America first attitude. Take away love for God and country and I can only assume that you're in this not only because of your disdain for Hillary, but for the whole political process.

nohil-billy, you mistake America with the American government. I don't blame America, I blame our government's policies which are becoming more and more indistinguishable from other countries.

I think there's a little bit of corruption in all the politicians that make it to the top. Unfortunately, that's how they get to the top. An honest person who tells it like it is seldom makes it to the top, unfortunately. But, there are very few politicians who even come close to the corruption of the Clintons, that's why Hillary is on the very bottom of the list of anybody who I would ever vote for. Obama does have the same big government philosophy that Hillary has, which I don't like, but I would support Obama over McCain because I feel McCain would be worse for this country than Obama. McCain would continue the neocon foreign policy that might drive gasoline prices up to $5 a gallon this weekend and is driving us into a recession. How many young people have to continue to die in this useless war in Iraq? How many more will become mentally and physically handicapped? It has been estimated that this war will end up costing us 3 trillion dollars when you take into account caring for all the mentally and physically handicapped people that come back from Iraq.

I agree with that 100%. The Clintons - both of them - are irredeemably corrupt. Their homely spawn appears ready to follow suit.

Please connect the dots on that. What does a "neocon" foreign policy have to do with gas prices? I don't know what is driving gas prices these days (commodity speculation?), but they have spiked up dramatically since the Democrats took over congress. Does it have something to do with what those clowns are doing? I'm asking; I don't know the answer. And speaking of gas, why is it so hard to find gasoline without ethanol in it anymore? Was some sort of mandate imposed? I'd prefer not to put that junk in my car (gas mileage suffers, for one thing), but we aren't even given a choice now. With such a high percentage of the corn crop going toward ethanol production without any market demand for it, we get the unitended consequence of higher prices on everything that corn goes into - all sorts of foods, including food for cattle. That's going to make my beloved cheeseburgers more expensive, too.

"What does a "neocon" foreign policy have to do with gas prices? "

The neocons have us in the Middle East to support Israel's interests. The war they started there has tripled oil prices by causing interuptions in the market and uncertainty in the market.

"I don't know what is driving gas prices these days (commodity speculation?), but they have spiked up dramatically since the Democrats took over congress."

I blame Democrats for alot of our economic woes, but in this case they're innocent except for not standing up to Bush and getting us out of Iraq like they said they would.

Regarding ethanol, corn is for eating, not for cars.
