| | | Latest Zogby Poll The new Zogby Poll shows that McCain would beat Hillary 42 to 37, but Obama would beat McCain 47 to 36. Hillary's claim that Republican women would vote for is wrong. Details of the poll shows more Republican women would vote for Obama than Hillary. If the Democrats want to win in 2008, they better pick Obama. Obama needs to advertise this poll in all the remaining states especially Ohio and Texas since Hillary is counting on those states halting Obama's momentum. | | Remove This Ad By Registering. | | | Lets see just how close zogby really is. So far, the votes counts stands as such: Hillary Clinton: 9,799,842 primary votes and 157287 caucus delegates. John McCain: 5,431,997 primary votes and 58791 caucus delegates. Thats almost double the Primary and almost 3 times the caucus delegates. I would say that Hillary would beat the pants off John McCain. And that Zogby needs to update their phone records. The GOP should have endorced Ron Paul....... |

| | It's meaningless to compare the votes cast for one Republican candidate to those cast for one Democratic candidate. McCain appeared, for all practical purposes, to be the Republican nominee after South Carolina, and especially after Florida. Republican voters haven't been motivated to show up at subsequent primaries and caucuses since the race is over. The Democrats, on the other hand, have a real contest going on. There is a good deal of suspense in that race and voters (some Republicans crossing over, no doubt) are showing up in droves to have a say in the outcome.
Ron Paul??? |

| | | I agree Corvair. The Democratic race has been supercharged while the Republican race has been low key in comparison. Republican votes were also spread out more evenly amongst the Republican candidates.
Some Republican crossover? I'll bet a good 10% of Obama's popularity is only temporary. I voted for him in the Missouri Primary and I'm sure that many other Hillary hating Republican/Conservatives did the same. |

| | | You guys don't get it do you? In most primaries, Hillary got more votes than all the Republicans put together.... Endorsing McCain was the dumbest thing the GOP has done since giving Bush the authority to invade Iraq. And you see where that's got us. | | Remove This Ad By Registering. | | And it wasn't split up between up to ten people either, now was it? There was just Hillary, the Muslim, and the Breck Girl, that's it.
But I don't believe the Zogby poll, it IS a Zogby poll. He did poll RP right, though. |

McCain has had endorsements from certain individuals, but so has Huckabee and so did Romney and Giuliani. The Grand Ol' Party hasn't endorsed anybody. Or by saying "GOP" are you referring to all Republican voters, a plurality of whom have voted for McCain? |

And noticed on several occasions, that Hillary took in more votes than all the GOP candidates put together. As in these: (note- These totals only include Hillary against the GOP. Not from Obama or Edwards)

All the GOP: 223,622

| Ron Paul is only included in may one or two questions in the online zogby polls. The phone polls are just as bias. Quote:

| I mean, that the GOP is loosing their butts by promoting "pro-war" candidates instead of promoting a change back to the true conservative beliefs. The beliefs that Ron Paul is promoting. The new conservatives are promoting more of a Bill Clinton/Lyndon Johnson type platform. |

| | | D.C. - Is 89% black and just as Democratic. Connecticut - Threw away a perfectly good liberal, Joe Liberman, in the 06 primaries because he wasn't liberal enough. Arkansas - She's from there. Only Al Gore loses his own state. California - Why do you think they call it the "LEFT COAST." | |
