For the short time that Fred Thompson was in the race I was able to learn more information about him than about Ron Paul.
I have no doubt that he is everything his backers say he is but whatever it is he's doing positive, he's doing it under the radar. | You missed most of the debates huh? Well, you didn't miss anything. I spent most of the time wondering when they were going to ask Ron Paul a question. ANd when they did, it was something like "on the subject of electability, uh,,,,uh,,,uh,, Do you have any sir?" Or So your saying that we should take our marching orders from Al-queda"...........Crap like that.
I was always amazed at how he could take a totally perposterous question and turn it into a very intelligent answer. Like when Fox asked him if he still wanted to do away with the CIA. And if so, how would we gather intelligence to prevent another 9/11?"
Ron Paul told Fox..."He wouldn't do away with the CIA, we have every right to gather intelligence. But we spent 40 billion in 2000 and it didn't stop 9/11. So, why pour more money into it without making it more efficient..
Hey, Herb Schaffler............I'm gonna order my "Don't blame me, I voted for Ron Paul bumper stickers"....When they come in, I might just vadilize some gas pumps with a few. Cuase I don't think Obama or Hillary will even try to do anything to the fuel prices. They will be too busy with their Socialized Health care. |
