Why Doesn't Edwards Pull Out?

Why doesn't Edwards pull out? Surely, he knows he can't win. By staying in there, he's helping Hillary. Zogby said that if Edwards pulled out, Obama would probably carry Florida. Maybe Edwards is staying in the race hoping to be offered a deal. Obama should offer him the vice-presidency or a top level cabinet position like Attorney General in exchange for him pulling out. Or perhaps Hillary has already offered him something to keep him in the race in order to split the anti-Hillary vote. According to some peoples' suspicians, it wouldn't be the first time they did that. Some people believe that Clinton worked out a deal with Perot to get him to run to syphon off votes from George Bush Sr. in 1992 and Bob Dole in 1996 in exchange for selling the US government his software.

Amen, Nohil-billy! I agree. He is such a wiener it is pathetic to see his pretty hair gallivanting around like he thinks he can win, sheesh. The reason I despise him is because he has a $6 million dollar house and is taking OUR $$$ to run his idiotic campaign. Like you said, Herb, he really is helping Hillary out by staying in. I heard him on NPR the other day when he said his greatest weakness was a cluttered desk...Hillary (in her usual bulls*it way) said her weakness was wanting to get this country right...sheesh, Edwards said his greatest weakness was wanting to change America...GIVE US A BREAK you morons!

Pat Buchannan also accused Perot of being in collusion with the Republican Party in 2000 when Bush won. Was Perot selling his software's critical updates? Or did Bush and Nader have a deal worked out in Florida?

Independents and third parties always get blamed by the losers. But if you believe your Clinton deal theory, you may agree that Republicans should work out a deal to get Nader into the debates with Hillary. That's the silver bullet, man! Just watching her face twist and contort unconfortably when the suggestion is raised will be classic. Watch for that left eye to start blinking out of control. She might also start to stutter and drool!

Edwards is a dirty player. I couldn't believe he got to be Kerry's v.p. Out of all the things that happened to Kerry in 2004, Edwards being his VP is the only thing that gets my heart felt sympathy for the man. You know Kerry never wanted him but Edwards put himself in position where Kerry had no choice. I'm not sure how Edwards did it, but that was a shock when it happened. Edwards isn't pulling out because he's setting up a fix on something else he wants. I despise Edwards more than I despise Hillary. It just never bothered me so much because I never saw him having a chance to win.

I've got all those clowns beat. My greatest weakness is that I have no weaknesses. Try that line at your next job interview. It works.

Apparently, Edwards believes he can be a king-maker at the convention and maybe secure a cabinet position.

Hm good points...you all may be right on that one. Sheesh, I hope not, I hope he goes back to his $6 million dollar mansion and start chasing ambulances again. If John Edwards gets a cabinet position, I will weep for this nation as much as I will if Hillary gets the Presidency.
