If you are talking about Monica, I think this was an instance of something evil consuming it's own to protect a cover up.

There was an asian real estate broker who funnelled millions of dollars from the Chinese National Army into the Clinton Gore campaign. The news was angry about it every day for months because the guy was hiding in China and we couldn't get him. I'm not sure... was it John Huang from the Lippo Group?

Anyway, he was in China, we wanted him. China laughed at us as they put the poor guy on a plane to California. Right before the plane landed, China called the news with a tip that the guy was on the plane. Reporters were there before the FBI and this created dramatic "LIVE BREAKING NEWS INTERRUPTION" all across America at about 10 am as we saw the guy dragged off the plane in handcuffs. More news was promised at noon.

Monica was leaked before noon and this arrest never got another mention. Clinton and Monica was used to cover up something much worse and this served the Clintons well. Imagine Chinagate if Monica never happened.
