Hillary Promises $5000 for Every Newborn and a Chicken in Every Pot

Hillary is now offering a $5000 bond for every newborn which can be cashed in when they turn 18. When asked how that would be paid for, she said they hadn't worked out the details and the plan was under construction. Hillary would promise the moon if she thought she could get away with it. My concern is that this latest promise of hers will get more young middle class people to support her for the free goodies and also stir up more poor people to get out and vote for her rather than stay home and watch their soaps. When she becomes president, she will probably go back on her campaign promise since we just simply can't afford it, but that won't matter to her. Her promise will have served her purpose by getting her elected.

It may stir up the young and the poor to go vote, but it also may stir up more people who are asking, "What the hell is going on here???" We can only hope...

It is still stunning to me that this worthless, feckless fraud is a viable candidate for president of the United States. What in God's name is the spell the Clintons cast over people? I cannot figure it out. They both are vile, repulsive people who should have been swept from the stage decades ago.

And that would be the only word for it: STOOOPID. No third party candidate would stand a snowball's chance. I'd be angry beyond belief if they tried to pull that. It would be the Perot phenomenon all over again.

I agree. Hillary is REALLY close to being the next President of the US already and that will tip it over the edge there. At least Giuliani has some guts and a mind of his own even though he DOES make mistakes. He admits to them at least. I am telling everyone that is reading this...do NOT underestimate Hillary Clinton and she CAN make it! Fight! Fight with your minds and mouths! Speak out, throw out your apathy, and THINK!

Back to the subject of this thread, a new Rasmussen poll shows that 60% of the public is opposed to Hillary's baby bonds while only 27% supports it. Even among Democrats, 47% are opposed to it while only 38% support it. And this is how the public voted without being told by Rasmussen that it would cost 20 billion dollars a year. I imagine there would be an even larger percentage of people opposed to it if they were told its cost. I'm so happy this scheme has blown up in her face, I could almost break out in a Hillary cackle.

They'll keep the original $5,000.00 and hand the 18 year old 3% of that years interest for their next 18 years while the government pockets the years of interest.
