Poll: Most Americans Favor Universal Health Care
Well guys this story supports my contention that Hillary is right and the timing is right for Universal Health Care. It's so overdo, only Hillary would be able to pull it off. You are wrong headed to think that the most powerful country in the world shouldn't provide health care for everyone. That is scary. While I want all to be well, I do NOT want to pay for every goofy that gets a splinter in his/her finger. This country will be FULL of hypochondriacs then! Look at what happens in Canada, for an important operation they sometimes have to wait MONTHS on end as the "socialized health care" there has been a disaster from what I've heard from the Canadians...

Any Canadians in here want to corroborate this? God spare us from Hillary.

The polls were also in favor of socialized medicine back when Hillary was having her secret Hillary Care meetings. When the public found out that Hillary Care would save money through rationing, the public wrote their representatives urging them to vote against Hillary Care. The Democratic dominated Congress voted it down. I hope the same thing happens this time around, whomever is President and tries to bring socialized medicine to this country. The public needs to be informed of market incentive programs that would lower costs without resorting to rationing.

Who cares what the poll says? It's the question that are asked that count. Clearly everybody would like something for nothing, but nothing is free including freedom. When the Health Care Industry get's rolling on this, and they already are to make sure change occur in the private sector, things will get straightened out. You want Government Health Care? Try thinking about being treated for a heart attack which was induced by waiting in line at the post office. We will have the same type of lines and limited choices with a Government run health care system
