My Name is Jerry Odom, I am a true working class American Citizen. I intend to be the first non-political driven, people orientated, goal driven, working class President unlike anything we have seen in a very long time. I seek to run for the office of the President of the United States of America, in the 2008 Presidential election as an Independent, to give the American people independence from the corrupt and infective system of government that we now have. I seek to give the people a choice like they have never had before, one of their own....

I am not politically driven or financially motivated. And to prove that point I offer this promise: I will donate most of presidential salary to some type of charity, not because I am rich, far from it, but because you don’t need that much money to provide a nice living for your family.

And as a Father I will not leave these problems for my daughter’s generation to fix or have to explain to her that the reason we could not solve this and other problems is because we as a people could not come together, to solve our greatest problems in our greatest time of need.

I have seen first hand what illegal immigration can do and watched my hometown get destroyed from this invasion. I also remember what America was like before these poor excuses for leaders gave it away. Please help me make it right again.

What are my plans for ending Illegal Immigration?
I have a clear plan and I will fix this monumental mess to bring a quick end to illegal immigration, before it becomes a bigger crisis. I will do this without excuses and without politics.

Brief overview:

• Secure the whole border with a sense of urgency and setup temporary check points along the whole border every mile, and man them with National Guards troops with these rules of engagement and defend our border by any means necessary.
• Zero tolerance for Illegal immigration nationwide. No Sanctuary Cities. We must stop the reason they come here in the first the place i.e. jobs by making it very expensive and very risky to employ illegal Aliens.
• Attrition through Enforcement
• Self-deportation can also be maximized by cutting off all services to illegal aliens (no bank accounts, no social services, no ID's etc.) and stepping up the enforcement at all levels from landlords to local law enforcement. Attrition through enforcement is a more reasonable and achievable solution,
• No Amnesty: There will be no offer of any path to legal status for any illegal aliens. Amnesty undermines U.S. law and policy, rewards bad behavior, and is unfair to the millions of immigrants who follow the law and are awaiting legal entry into the United States.
• I will stand behind our border agents. The two border agents currently wrongly imprisoned will be pardoned immediately. I will give our border agents access to whatever they need to make their job possible and keep our borders secure.

I need your support to turn this effort in solid real action plan, this can be done, with positive thinking and action.

The answer is simple. They brought this silent invasion upon us, now we must bring our own invasion of new ideas and clear thinking to Washington, DC in 2008.


If all of us who stand against illegal immigration come together this voice will be so loud that people will listen, and come Election Day, a new clear voice will emerge. And on day 1 I will solve illegal immigration and focus on a secure and brighter future.

We should not put anymore of our trust in the usual suspects in our political system, we need a new voice, I am that voice. I am energized and engaged and I know what need to be done.

Please don’t just dismiss an unknown like myself, for things are changing… and we the people have the power to change our course.
